Again, I totally agree there are issues with the game it appears. I still don't actually have it, but have the standard edition pre-ordered and will get it tomorrow.
I have watched a ton of videos on the game as well, and do see the o-line things you're talking about (as well as other odd things), but I also see people playing an open, fast-paced game of football that looks like a lot of fun. Quite a few people, many who have ragged on EA for years - like SoftdrinkTV, are saying that CFB25 actually shows that EA can do good things when they actually put their minds to it and have time to do so.
The game is still in "Early Access", so who knows what patches and updates will arrive in the days and weeks to come to address the things being identified. Heck, I remember how glitchy PGA 2K23 was when it first dropped for the "Deluxe Edition", allowing those to pay more to basically do beta testing. That experience was one reason why I didn't do the same for CFB25.

Got one game in after picking it up from Best Buy at lunch. Love how the game plays, and each team feels and plays as it does in real life.
Played a scrappy contest with Wisconsin against Michigan State in Play Now, and I won 20-14.
The passing mechanic is really cool, the kicking mechanic is actually challenging now, and the AI can pick you apart if you're not careful. So far, so good!

I got my Hartford Hawks up and running. We don't have a football team IRL so it's always fun to make one up. Unrelated - The University of Hartford actually had an NBA superstar - Vin Baker who was in school around the same time as I was. |

I've watched a bunch of videos now from guys who would love it regardless or hate it regardless. There are obvious issues like any other video games but it does look pretty good aside from the crowd and cheerleaders and looks like fun.

Having a running back run in place banging up against the other running back in the back field is not. But the passing looks cool the kicking mechanic is a great idea and it looks pretty good. Football is a very difficult game to replicate. I'll pick it up if it ever goes on a really deep sale. Since this is the first college game in a decade I won't hold my breath on that. |

I have downloaded the entire CFL and will do a dynasty CFL style ( not rules though ) may also look to see if I can resurrect the old American expansion teams and include them too but not the LV Posse!!! lol
Best football I have ever played hands down!

And yes, I have seen plenty of bugs and glitches. But when you are playing, it’s still great gameplay. Hopefully the update/patch that’s coming will fix a bunch of those. But it is EA.. |
