Love it! BUT, obviously huge questions on what they do with the player likenesses. That will be the deal breaker.I doubt they will be able to use the real names (it might become the greatest game ever if they could pull that off), but If they don’t it’s critical everything about the players can be edited and also shared so people can download. This was in 14, right? It’s been a while but pretty sure I’ve heard people still update/edit the players today for that game. Needs to still be an option.

I think since the NCAA is now allowing players to profit from their names and likenesses, this would be the first leap forward in that regard. I like to think that when news came out of the NCAA voting in favor of that change, it spurred EA to begin working on this game. We'll just have to see when new info is released. Edit: Nevermind, just did some digging and looks like they're won't be names and likenesses. Oh well. I'm still pumped

No real player names but the previous NCAA games didn’t have them by default either. Users created them and uploaded to the locker for all to download and use.
I couldn’t care less about the likenesses.
No idea if the locker is coming back. But it is a must for this to succeed.
No idea of the web-based team creator is coming back either.
No idea if there will be an editor at all. This is also a must if it is to succeed.
No idea if all Division I teams will be included since going to be titled EA College Football, leaving out the NCAA part, and they do not say all 130 teams are in. Only “over 100”.
So for me, the jury is still out. I don’t fall easily for EA hype. Learned a long time ago that they oversell and under deliver. I need to see more.
Also, will edited draft classes be able to be uploaded over to Madden?
Any of you play Doug Flutie’s Maximum Football this year?

I don't care about likeness at all. Just PLEASE still let people edit the rosters. And for the love of god EA, please bring back Game Face for career mode.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm fairly new and love college football and the NCAAF series. I was curious if anyone had heard about the College Football Revamped team. These guys are awesome and have updated the original NCAAF 14 game with current teams, new uniforms, stadiums, RPO plays, and more. They even found a way to implement the college football playoff into bowl season. The updates they have implemented keep the game fun for me, even with all of the changes that have happened in 8 years. If you can't wait for the new game to come out from EA (and who knows how different it may look), I highly suggest checking out College Football Revamped (link below). github.com/cfbrevamped/CFBR-Easy-Installer

VERY EXCITED!!
Of course, not on PC which is a downer. My oldest told me to buy it on Xbox and play through the app on my PC. That works!
