I'm surprised GME hasn't been brought up. I hold a low amount of non volatile stocks, a fun little college fund for my daughter. But this week has been absolutely nuts. I bought into KOSS at $10. My stop loss triggered in after market hours, but cashed out $430. I'm now holding with 2 shares of GME, no limit or stop loss sale!
It came at a good time. My dog had TPLO surgery yesterday. It's not much (yet, hopefully) but will definitely help. The cost put us in a tight spot: in the past 2 months we've burned through our savings on AC and furnace issues.
I've read stories of people already cashing out with helpful gains. One who had the same issue with their dog: need TPLO surgery and they didn't have the money. Their earnings covered the cost. Another who is using their gains to pay for their sister's medical treatment.
It's an amazing thing. Regular people using stock gains to ease their financial worries.
So now if you were hoping the GME talk didn't invade every forum in the world, I apologize.

Certainly finding how free the "free markets" actually are. Turns out they're not as free as advertised. I wish all the GME buyers good luck.

Lol GME tanked hard today, down to $80. Robinhood allowed trading (still limiting to 100) and instantly the stock was back above $120. Nope, definitely not manipulating supply/demand.

Anyway I tried to short game but didn't like the theta wasn't worth it to me.
It will be 30 a share soon. Retail investors getting rinsed.
Oil is bullish.

I was not paying close enough attention apparently when I bought a call option on a stock. I did not notice the lack of volume and I am the only 1 holding it LOL. Fun to watch a stock go up and you lose money on a call. Will not do that again.
Woops!

If you are American don't watch Bloomberg europe. Omg. Just don't. I can't tell if it's real or fake. Had a expert who had to be 25 or less.

Do you try and find political stuff and slants everywhere you look or what? I generally go with AP, Reuters, and Bloomberg for somewhat balanced news coverage and the like. Maybe their European coverage is a bit different, but if you go looking for something you will find it if you know what I mean. I am an American. What did they say in their coverage that should give me attention?

I rarely stay up that late but wanted to see european open for a oil option I took today. Just seems it's very slanted to one side but it's about making money. Ironic.
I shorted windmills and longed Gush.
I won.

The cost put us in a tight spot: in the past 2 months we've burned through our savings on AC and furnace issues. Our dog had TPLO surgery about 20 weeks ago and is now back to full strength. luckily he was insured and the excess was $150, so we got out lightly.
