Also up for ideas to improve or otherwise make it more appealing for people to play. Don't hold back, but without diverting from the Pandora structure too far! Had a thought: Four rounds, keep the best two. Or up to four rounds, so if you only want to play two, there's no penalty for that, those are just the two that stick. Or Four rounds, throw out the best and worst. Same as above. |

All scores of those who did post 2 rounds is a total of 1829. 1829/28 posted scores = 65.3, + the 5 point penalty = 70.3 Am I looking at it wrong? Anyway, no big deal, just thought they seemed a bit low.. |

5 points penalty is without prior notification. The average is also worked out before their scores are entered. It was 61.8, rounded up to 62 The total average score is taken from all those who HAVE posted, divided by the amount posted, so eg. 14 players posted. 2 teams did not post a complete score. 14 x(whatever score was), divided by 6 (fully entered scores for 6 teams) gives the running average of all completed scores. If I included the playing partner from the non playing team it sometimes gives less of a competitive edge, which I still wanted to maintain for all players. Hope that makes sense.  I will be trialling a new system as an idea from another player next season. |

Pandora Season 14
Following the end of Season 13 of Pandora on 2nd May, I plan to run a placement tournament again for all members taking part in Season 14!
This will take the form of 4 rounds of golf on one course, taking part over 5 days from 2nd to 7th May. On 8th/9th May I will communicate the teams for Season 14, again using my highly technical and precise algorithm for constructing even teams.
This has worked well for the past 3 seasons, providing some really tight matches and a close run competition!
Society Owners will receive notification of this placement tournament soon so they can setup the event in their relevant platforms. I will sort out Xbox.
Once that has taken part, we start Season 14 proper. This is where you all come in.
Those who havent signed up, please do so. At the moment, we have the following :
