Welcome to signup for Pandora Season 13. This is a cross platform tournament taking part over 12 weeks, in teams of two. There is also a 1 week testing course
Players will play 2 rounds a week, in Society ONLY.
Both scores for each player in a team will then be combined and averaged to give a score for that round i.e
modeheaddm scores 72 & 72
CGib2 scores 64 & 60
72 + 72 + 64 + 60 = 268/4 = 67 points. This method has worked well producing some really tight scoring so far.
I will enter all scores on the spreadsheet which will give a winner & loser for each match. Society Owners (I run Xbox only) need to either send me a screenshot of the leaderboard or edit the sheet themselves. It is only us Society big bods that can do this.
A winning team will score ten points, losing team will score 0 points.
Now, should a player not be able to play for any reason, they need to contact ME directly. I can be reached on personal message here only. Should you message me, you will receive a score equal to the average for all other rounds by all other players played that week.
Should you NOT message me and not post a screenshot, you will receive the same but your score will also suffer an extra 5 points added to your team score. Obviously this could mean the difference between winning and losing that week.
Alternate players will not take missing players places.
I have created the information and scoresheet. There are several tabs at the bottom. Firsttabs show teams, matches, scores while the rest are a round by round breakdown of the courses and settings. You can practise outside society should you wish, but we only accept Society scores.
There are players on the sheet. These may change subject to the exciting first week (qualification and scoring) which will run Monday to Saturday. Sunday will be a day to give me a chance to layout the teams as even as possible before we start.
A lot to take in, but I will hold your hand through it all and I appreciate feedback, good or bad, to ensure I can make this as enjoyable as possible for you all.
Any questions?? Drop your name below to be included.
So we are clear, the team balancing event starts next Monday, 1st Feb and consists of 4 rounds of golf one one course to give a balanced (hopefully) score. After that, I sort teams to try and get an even spread across the tournament. It's in everyones best interest to play as they would normally play, dont go trying a new set of clubs etc!
