Well, I did what I could. -30 is a helluva number, but I matched the first round with a 54 of my own. For the second round, I was standing on the 18th tee at -28. So I need an eagle to tie. I drive it approximately a mile and a half with the tailwind, leaving about 160 to the hole. Gap Wedge, because tailwind and downhill, and it goes left of the green, bounces on the fringe and releases right at the hole. Heart rate goes through the roof, then that little white SOB stops 8 inches from the cup.
EIGHT.
INCHES.
So yeah, 54-61.

Round 6  Found the second round considerably tougher as you can see. Great 2nd round from you artb in those conditions. Almost on a par with the big boys - forgive the pun. Keep up the form for the Strongbow Strikers in the Brew Crew's Cyder Cup! |
