Hey everyone. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I feel like I am having a lot of issues with pushes and pulls. It seems like my swing is usually pretty much dead center, but sometimes it shoots off to the right or left. It has even happened off the tee box where I know the lie can't really have any effect on it. There are other times where my swing is a little off, but it seems like sometimes it will go straighter like that than when I am dead straight on my swing. Again, this doesn't happen ALL the time, but just occasionally it will shoot off target but my line seems ok... anyone else have this issue or any advice?
I'm still kind of a newb at this game and haven't played enough to really know all the ins and outs so just wanted to get some feedback on this.
Thanks!

i think it is just as much our back swing on the stick as it is your front swing. Think about how a true traditional golf swing problem is. Is it in your back swing or your follow through? If you go straight back, you should go straight forward. If you do that it should be a straight shot. If you vary in your back swing or front swing it will throw your swing off. Unless you have an uneven lie or you have a controller issue. However, I think its the consistency of your swing forwards and back.

Search these forums for the ball squirt and you will find many threads on it! Happens to all of us chap and anyone who says it doesn't happen to them simply doesn't notice it! I think that's the general consensus anyway!

Thanks for the quick replies everyone, I didn't even really think that the backswing could have an effect on it, I always just assumed it would be the straightness of the through swing. I'll have to try and pay more attention to the backswing. I'll also try and search for the ball squirt threads. Thanks all!

I'm sure you know this but the lie also affects the shot. It is easy to not notice an uneven lie. In no way am I saying this is what is happening, just thought I would mention it.

Yeah, I am aware of that and notice that happening on certain shots as well... That is definitely SUPPOSED to happen in all golf games. There are times though where I will be on a lie where the ball is below my feet and should shoot right, and it would actually shoot left even on a straight swing. I think it is just some randomness in the game.
