Hey to all good designers out there! Need help! Trying to put Rough in for a path and been able to do it on previous course but for some reason it wont do it for this one! I have tried altering Heavy Rough Width, flattening, raising and nothing seems to straighten it out. It is far straighter if I use Fairway surface but still not great! Any ideas?

If you are referring to the wiggly edges it's because your size if brush is to big and the fading out of the brush being a little large makes the edge soft and wiggly. Try shrinking size down a bit. Also make sure that heavy rough width is set to zero as if it isn't it makes all the rough a little wiggly for some reason I have noticed.

Also make sure you only stamp it once as the more you stamp it the more wiggly it will get also I have found. Anymore than 3 times and the edge goes to crap I find. Hope this is what you are referring to and sorts the issue

Thanks for the replies. It does it no matter what size the brush is and have tried making zero heavy rough width and doesn't seem to make any difference!

Having the same problem. Any light rough i use is distorted by heavy rough. No matter the brush. Is quite frustrating.

Have you tried raising and lowering the terrain using the red tool from the main menu rather than the yellow tool used in the contextual menu?
