Hello everyone, I am new to this forum so I’m not sure if I’m posting this in the correct area but I wanted to let anybody who is interested know that I recently created a new society called Golden Age of Golf. This is for anybody who nerds out on golden age architecture and wants to play some casual events on classic courses in pga 2k21. I threw up 4 courses so far that have 4 “events” that last a week, each event has different weather conditions and tees to maximize the strategy of these awesome designs. Any course recommendations or recommendations in general for the society are welcome. Again, just a casual place for architecture geeks to play and discuss cool history. Cheers! - Ryan

Is this the one on Playstation? Found it but there weren't any active events. This is is right up my alley currently as Ive been seeking out as many golden age courses as I can find.

Yeah there's no events. If you're actually into that as well I had a society on 19 dedicated to golden age stuff. If there's no events up when I get home today I'll start it up again and invite you

I'm definitely interested. I think I may have joined. I find I spend my non TGC rounds just playing courses like that anyway, not looking for anything crazy competitive anyway. I'm in CC-J not exactly tearing it up anyway, shooting in the -5 to +5 range . Just looking for something casual and I love playing golden age type courses. Just played Aronimink over the weekend, so theres some good ones out there for sure. Just been searching and see what comes up.

My apologies, make sure you search “Golden Age of Golf” NOT “The Golden age of Golf” the first event is Riviera (by mistake) but the real first event is at the original LIDO which begins on the 23rd.

ryananthony1013 I’d be interested for sure. I just studied quite a bit of Raynor and some Macdonald for my second course and loved it. I only see one member in the Xbox society, though. Not you, either. Does it show other platforms? It’s the right schedule starting with Riviera and Lido. My challenge is the four rounds. I’ve found that for fun societies I like one or two rounds just as a matter of free time. On these courses, assuming they’re well done in the game, two would be great to appreciate them. Totally up to you, of course, just my personal perspective. Plus I suck and am still working on the playing part of this game since I spent most free time learning the designer so far. I’m easy to win against, though!
