Are there accepted settings (or a standard "range") for the different course settings? I'm sure it varies based on a lot of factors, but I have no idea what values to choose.
I used the default settings while building my course, but I just played South Yarra and the fairways and greens are SIGNIFICANTLY harder/faster than what I'm using now.
Thanks!

Thanks! go to the settings tab in the designer then course settings. That will bring up a menu where you can change the firmness and roll settings for most surfaces and adjust green speed. As for "accepted" settings, that's pretty much up to you. I'd recommend taking into account the type of course your making and how difficult you want it to play when finalizing your settings. As a loose rule of thumb, firmer, faster courses will generally play more difficult then soft, slow ones. However, I have played some courses with slower conditions that still play quite difficult! I'd also suggest making your settings match to a degree. For example, I think you'd be pretty hard pressed to find a course with firm but slow greens and soft fairways on which you get a ton of roll out! Hope this helps and good luck with your course!
