In 2019 there was a real punch shot that you could select. I don't find it is 2k21 and I really don't find a way to produce a true punch shot. How do any of you do it? Or is it really possible?

Closest thing to a punch shot would probably be a normal shot lofted down as much as possible with as much top spin as possible, hit at about 65 to 75 % or so. Use whatever club makes the most sense for the shot.
I don't see a need for an actual punch shot option in this game to be honest. With the above mentioned method, it adds a little bit more unpredictably, making it a more difficult shot to execute with precision...as it should be.

Thanks for the tips on this. I'll give that a try when needed. I always did find the punch shot handy, even in my real golf game. Finding ones self behind a bunch of low trees and honestly no way out except to hit a punch shot down low across the ground just to get back in play anywhere.

You should set up a practice round and get a feel for what clubs will do hitting them at different percentages. An example would be that if you are playing with swing meter on, you would set up for a full shot at 100% power but execute the shot before the marker touches the colored part of the meter.

Sorry it took me so long to view this again. But thanks for next tip on this. I will also give that a try too and see what I can do. Thanks :-)
