Anybody else watched this tonight? What's your thoughts on it?
I kind of wanted the "Last Dance" treatment a little more. Not saying I needed it to be 10 hours but it was so face paced I wish it were more then 2 Parts; at least 4 or 5. It zoomed through his Amatuer days and early career way too fast.

Have recorded it and set the PVR for part 2 next week.
Will watch part one this afternoon.
There was another Tiger show on the golf channel today can't remember its name but something about the race to 82. I recorded that as well but deleted it an hour or so ago when I realized I saw it before. Wish I hadn't now, would have been good to watch back to back with this new one.

I enjoyed it. I read that Tiger apparently didn't have any role in this, which I found odd. How did they get all the footage from the early 90's in and around his house? Of he and his dad playing golf casually? His dad is gone. If Tiger himself didn't hand it over, did his mother give it out? Did his old girlfriend have it all? Weird.
But it's an interesting look at his life for sure. Made his dad look like a complete prick. Will be interesting to see how much time they spend in part 2 on his infidelity compared to his comeback afterwards.

Not sure how they got the footage with Tiger not being around. Obviosuly there's a lot from his old girlfriend and a lot of public stuff like interviews when he was young, but there's some home footage too. Apparently everyone involved, including his old caddy don't have a relationship with Tiger currently.

Haven't watched part 2 yet but found the first to be quite harsh on his father. I guess most of it is probably true but it really felt like they vilified what his dad did for Tiger as a child.
In regards to the footage, I've heard Tiger didn't own any of the footage and had zero say on the film. I would guess the early stuff came from his GF and just random news footage or stuff filmed by the club for stuff around the golf course.
I can already guess that part 2 dives into all the affairs tiger gets into which will be interesting to learn more about but nothing I'm dying to know.
Overall I feel like the whole piece is just meant to be controversial and stir the pot. I don't really blame them, business is business but I feel like there is a better Tiger doc waiting to be made. Might never happen if he's not willing to sit down and do it but that is the one I'm waiting on.
