More than happy to at least be an alternate so I have an excuse to put together my 2nd fictional course in 2k21. Having a lot of fun doing it so figured I'd share my WIP..... My course "Cape Clements, Tasmania" is loosely based on Australia's No.2 course (21st in the world), Cape Wickham which is located on King Island in Tasmania. The actual course was only just completed in 2015 however my fictional version is planned to be set in the mid to late 1800s (back story to come). For those who don't know of Cape Wickham, here's a couple of images.... Still got hours of planting to do but full routing / macro sculpting is mostly finished so I'm on the home stretch. 1st tee complex overlooking 9th green.... My favourite hole so far.....the short par 3, 15th. Again - more planting to go :/ Quick questions for mayday_golf83 that the other alternates might also want to know..... 1. Since I have like a 1% chance of my course being needed, can I publish when I'm done or do I need to wait until March? 2. Can I still enter the 9 hole comp as an alternate?

Heisenberg1) No, the publish window still applies. 2) Yes, just stipulate which nine you wish to have judged.

YES PLEASE! This looks great man. As a big fan of Chiang Mai I am 100% on board with you going for the Cape Wickham look. Seems you are already nailing it. Too bad that stickler Mayday won't let you publish this early because I can't wait

I'm running at a mattf27 pace with this mainly cos it's way more fun than making an RCR and I really enjoyed it. Anyway, I'm pretty much done ... may as well share a couple of images and then wait a month :/ 1st Green overlooking 18th Green 2nd Hole 15th Hole complete with a shearing shed which is what all good golf holes need :/ 18th Tee which is the only hole pretty much ripped from Cape Wickham and reversed. I now look forward to watching the progress on all the great courses from this comp. Might actually take some time to play some virtual golf for the first time in a few months as well. Good luck all.

Damn, that rock work. Can't say I'd hope someone drops out, but I'd love to see this in the full field. Great stuff, pal!

I always have to do a double take of your design work, it just looks so realistic and detailed. I like the rock and beach look, so good.!
