Hey guys. Posted my debut course Royal Punnetsville a while ago. Have a crack and see what you think. It plays long and the greens are pretty flat as I was just getting used to sculpting and routing. The docile greens offer forgiveness for those that prefer heavy rough to fairways.
Try Punnetsville then have a go at my second course ‘Slitchey Coast’ and make a comparison (there is a thread in the forum for that course too and any feedback is welcome.)
Again I apologise for not having images as I design on PS4... if someone could help out on this thread it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Berldo,
Literally just played the course, love that it’s named after your pooch - that deserves a play in itself! Black tees pin two (randomised) and scored -4, I decided to forget how to swing a golf club on the first 6 holes and couldn’t stop getting fast/slow. Massive shout out to your hazard placement because on the first few, I found all of them which means they’re in the right places to catch players out.
For a first course this is an great effort, I am literally in the process of doing the same as you and pulling together my first course and if it’s anything like this I’ll be proud. A few observations for future courses: bunkers on fairways, try and keep a strip of rough round the bunker to give it a natural look. Some that came onto the fairway looked a little out of place without the strip round the outside in the rough, but then nothing on the fairway. Also some of the bunkers could’ve benefitted with a little more sculpting, can strongly recommend Crazycanuck’s 101 video on bunker sculpting. Above this, some of the greens and bunkers were a little disproportionately large, think about your hole strategy and how they play. Also have a think about your fairway sizes, same thing and comes back to hole strategy! Also, some of your sculpting was a little extreme in places which removed some of the line of site to greens and your amazing views, think about flattening this out a little bit… This is something I’m struggling with at the moment!
This being said, the routing and layout of the course was great, clearly well thought through. Loved the use of the lake throughout the course which was amazing! Clubhouse on the last was picture perfect and the connections between the holes with signs were amazing. Just think about the above things and how you can take them forward and I’m sure your next will be a gem… And maybe a little shorter next time?
Solid effort, well done, keep it up.
Hopefully this helps.
