Im just glad to be made aware of this course IRL, going to go look it up now Best course I've played... if the conditioning was slightly better it would be no.1 in South Africa in my opinion. Inland holes are not as great as the dunes holes but there are a few stand out holes. 1-5 is one of the toughest opening stretches you'll ever play and the pa r 3 12th hole is a real bastard but fun at the same time. The 17th is the last 2 pictures and they do not do the slopes justice... absolutely insane undulations that make the green almost blind from under 100 yards away and 18 is a drivable par 4 where you might hit a driver straight into the clubhouse |

I... uhh... may have stolen the Durban idea for my Design League entry.
Doesn't look even half as good as this one though. I've gone for the rounded bunkers like in the real thing - flat bottomed and deep, but I've tried to make them look good. Hope yours is still going well - this one is highly anticipated!

Going quite well... the look drifted away slightly from Durban although the influence is clear... making good progress but no more teasers... at least for now haha |

I'm also doing a South Africa course (Pezula inspired), thought I was being different and unique for heading to that part of the world.

Thats really cool mate! Glad to hear SA is getting some representationš... This one takes inspiration from Durban CC and Zimbali... though a lot denser so not an exact copy of the look and then I also threw in some creative parts that you won't see on those courses so I'm pretty excited about this one! |
