Super new at this so any insight is greatly appreciated.
Need the EPSG code for the following:
Ogden Golf and Country Club
Ogden, UT USA
URL to LIDAR Data: viewer.nationalmap.gov/basic/?category=nedsrc&bbox=-112.2689860,40.3974000,-111.5411471,
I also tried to process LIDAR data for the following course:
Oro Valley Country Club
Oro Valley, AZ USA
I had the same issue. Is this common? I had the understanding that it is rare for the tool to not be able to find the EPSG code when LIDAR data is available. I downloaded the LAZ and XML files and it didn't find anything. I also tried "trial and error" with the spatial reference website but never did get my images to match once processed.
I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

It is increasingly rare FOR the tool to find an EPSG code from projection data within the LAS/LAZ file. And spatial reference is outdated, so I wouldn't rely on it.
Ogden Golf and Country Club uses EPSG code 6341
Oro Valley Country Club uses EPSG code 6405

Been a while since I reached out. Curious if you are still around. Trying to design new course and having another issue with EPSG. Do you have a code for the following:
Seville Golf and Country Club
Gilbert, AZ
Can't seem to find the right one. Any help you could provide would be appreciated.

I havent done a ton of work in Chad's tool and not for a long time but I did take one course to completion that I really liked and have started others. I used 6341 and it runs the program but I then get an error that reads:
Exception in Tkinter callback
Tracaeback (most recent call last)
File "tkinter\_init_.py, line 1705, in_call_
There is more to the error but I have just put the first three lines here. Any clue how to get around this? Never ran into this before. Thanks in advance.

Chad Tool is down due to the Mapquest API also being down (takes the satellite overhead from there when processing LiDar)

Thank You Neal Keep getting this OpenStreetMap Overpass query: (node(43.88107958217708,-76.79106659054102,43.94895633936074,-76.74347427448144);way(43.88107958217708,-76.79106659054102,43.94895633936074,-76.74347427448144)  ;out; and on the black screen urllib.error 11001 It did work but I only can see my course on the right screen and 2 holes on the left, I am going to see what I get.It says, now I can go edit mask png.. |

From my understanding - that is due to mapquest still having API issues. The difference now is it allows us to at least move forward. Only issue is you cannot easily verify if you have correct EPSG by comparing the two maps. The EPSG I gave you though I pulled from the file so it should be correct. |

It is perfect, after I masked it and imported it the osm came in. WOW PERFECT and the COLORS of the Course is Superb. AMAZING. Millions Thanks

Wild Turkey Golf Course 1 Wild Turkey Way, Hamburg, NJ 07419 Try a lot of ways even did New Jersey search for espgs, tons of numbers but no luck. laz.las is 2017. Thank You and if you can show me how it would be a time saver.
