The Admin do stress the need to use an official XB1/DS4 controller with good reason. One, they know from experience 3rd party controllers fail to pass the API and secondly their checks ensure a level playing field. This community is about the best you'll find and I would hope that you will be able to acquire an official controller so you may become part of it. You won't regret it. I have two Xbox 360 controllers, how can I try them in a Test Event? If you play any of the official TGCT events (doesn't have to be your Division, play TGCT Kinetic Society for instance) and ask Jeff SmilingGoats I'm sure he will check your API for you if you ask him nicely!! I would strongly suggest you invest in an official XB1 controller, not sure XBox 360 controllers will pass API any better than 3rd party XB1 controllers.

That is one of the coolest, best, most rewarding to read write ups of any course I’ve ever designed. Thanks for taking to time to do that, sincerely, so neat to read. Best of luck all. Absolutely my pleasure B. Smooth, the course is stellar in both design and strategy and makes me want to try out some of your other ones - or take an aspirin since everyone here's gonna kick my buttootie anyway. He he Definitely gonna check out your design page in the near future.

If it's a Microsoft XB360 controller, it probably will work. The main issue with XBox 360 controllers is that there are just as many (if not more) fake/third-party ones. I bought a Microsoft XB360 controller specifically to test it against our API and it works fine and I know we have at least a handful of users that have ones that work. We've had several fail but I suspect those are of the third-party variety. As the lads have said, best wait to find out for sure is to play a test round or two in one of our TGCTours societies and then post in the fair play forum for a check.

Scores are really low this week. I haven't played the course yet, but looks like I will need to play well.

Love this course and easily the most fun ive had in this game since Q-school think i had 1 intentional good shot for the first 27 holes, but for once a pretty good shortgame to somehow avoid bogeys.just hope it didn't cost me the cut. many slows, even when going for fasts, (even an fully bottomed out very slow) that finally made me get the dust can to go over the mouse. after that it was back to the usual fast or perfect and i started play pretty good and most mistakes where my own not tempo. even tho it felt like i said hello to every greenbunker on the course. R3 was maybe a little TOO short(?), but so much fun! made it to R4 before i had my first multiple mistakes in a row resulting in a bogey. But despite all the ups and down it was FUN again, and i think i was largely thanks to the greens. Putting is usually my by far weakest link(as for many mouse users i suspect), I tend to be ok on GIR but bottom 3rd on the greens. But the greens this week felt "predictable" in a way that have been rare for me in this game. And in a time where most of my old in-game "rivals" play in higher ranks its fun to see some familiar faces on the leader-boards again, Welcome to CC Pablo and Crazycanuck1985 !

My first experience in TCG and I can't be more dissapointed. I use a non-official Xbox One controller and my scores were not accepted because I didn't comply with fair play regulations of the community. I can't afford a new XB1 controller and I will not participate in future challenges or competitions. I bought the PGA 2k game just to join this community because I knew the matchmaking of the game is broken. I respect all the regulations established to achieve a fair game, but this punched me. Just save some money and buy a new controller. You can’t let a controller decide your fate with the TGC Tours. Rules are rules.

Enraged von Fersen storms out of club house after missing cut
Following up on his 72 in the second round of play at Royal Halex and missing the cut, an enraged Axel von Fersen stormed out of the club house before immediately heading to the airport to take a flight to Florida in preparation for next weeks tournament at Pointe West. The Swedish nobleman never got his game going during the first two rounds and rounded off with stating that "he had the touch of a bag of bricks" and that "he couldn't wait to get out of here and away from the disgrace that his play has brought on the club".
He was seen a few hours later dialing in his play at Pointe West - and by the looks of things, he has abandoned his sponsorship deal with TaylorMade as he was sporting woods from Ben Hogan.

Currently Mizuno is vying for me to sign with them. Using their ST whatever it is 287 driver. Every single time John gives me a nice drive type comment, I miss the fairway..well nearly every time. And does silk really swing smoothly? Does silk even swing? Pointe West scares me. I set up a 4 round practice tournament in my society yesterday. -10 after one round..only to end the entire 4 rounds at -17. These bloody designers keep putting water where my ball is landing.

I was looking at the scores in CC-A though CC-C and there is very little separation between the flights. Cut line a couple strokes higher in A, but same for B and C.

I had a terrible first round at Royal Halex yesterday. I went into the clubhouse with a +3. Today I played my second round it this was quite good. Managed to score a nice 67. But it looks that an overall score of -2 wouldn't make the cut in CC-H. Currently you need -4 to make it. But I really like the course, which is a whole lot of fun to play.
Good luck out there

After missing the cut last week, I was worried since I've been dealing with Covid and pneumonia. Did well enough to make the cut fairly easily, then shot my best round yet in round three. Was looking at a really good finish, but 18 bit me for a double.
Enjoyed the course and the challenge.
