Scores Not Accepted

So I didn’t do great I’m gona start with that. I didn’t get a warm up round in or anything just jumped straight qualifier. First round shot +22 second +4 third +8 fourth +5.. So my first score put me in a tough spot but luckily did a little better to end it off. Then I get a email saying my scores weren’t accepted.
I use a wired fusion controller. My controller I’ve had forever I only use for hockey because the game is so hard on the sticks.

Anyways I’m assuming that the fusion controller is the reason? If somebody could verify that please! Secondly can I use my other controller maybe and re do the tournament?

I had the same problem. Only XB1 and PS controllers are accepted. I am asking about Xbox360 controllers if they are ok.

Play a practice round with that controller, are your swing paths pretty much straight up and down, there is your problem, not the brand

Fair Play Policy

TGC Tours strongly recommends the use of Stock XB1 and PS4 controllers (controllers manufactured by Microsoft or Sony respectively). You may only use another controller or a mouse provided that it meets our Fair Play Analysis which analyzes several metrics from your shot data. Please note that we also recommend that you do not use Steam Link as that has been known to cause problems with input registering correctly.



Our metrics will allow most users with stock PS4 and XB1 controllers ample room to play on TGC Tours with no issues.



Shot data will be monitored and if any results fall outside our Fair Play criteria, all scores will be withdrawn for the week

All tours (PGA, Euro, Korn Ferry, Challenge Circuit, True Sim Tour) will have Fair Play Metrics checked for R1 & R2 after the 2nd round ends and R3 & R4 checked after the 4th round ends

Members that have scores withdrawn will be auto-emailed a link to a private board on our forums for support

TGCT reserves the right to withdraw any abnormal results that we deem counter to our Fair Play Policy

A note about 3rd party controllers/officially licensed

There are many officially licensed controllers for both the PS4 and XB1. Officially licensed is another term for 3rd party controller. Most of these controllers are not built with the same quality/sensitivity as the PS4 or XB1 official controller. An officially licensed or 3rd party controller may look like a regular controller but may not pass our Fair Play metrics analysis. Please be aware of this when claiming your controller is an Official XB1 or PS4 controller - it may not be. If your controller has a built-in wire, it is a third-party controller. There are also wireless third-party controllers. But there are no Microsoft-manufactured or Sony-manufactured controllers with a built-in wire.



Also, please note we have yet to see a controller manufactured by Power A, Hori, or Logitech pass our Fair Play metrics. If your controller is manufactured by any of these manufacturers, it is highly unlikely that your scores will be accepted. These are not the only third-party controllers that do not pass, but are some of the more popular ones. If you're using another brand, it likely won't pass either.



A note for PC users

TGC Tours strongly recommends the use of a Microsoft-manufactured XB1 controller for use on PC. You may only use a mouse if you can make that mouse operate with the same difficulty that one would face when using an XB1 controller. This often means increasing the mouse sensitivity via DPI settings to facilitate a longer hand movement to create the swing.



Please also note the XBOX 360 controllers are very hit and miss. Some of them work fine, but others fail. If you want to use an XB360 controller, it is best to test your controller in a test event and ask admin to review the data.

Hi I got an email tonight to say my scores had not been accepted for qualifying just wondering why that would be I am using a black wireless controller and my round 1 and 2 scores went in and I was using the same controller for round three and four my psn id is rego_65
