Hitting the ball well (first time ever in 2K) but putter is still on holiday. Second Wind is a nice course with oodles of chances. Some tough raised greens. I hate 144 because I suck on slow greens. GJ. Btw barking spider was another I enjoyed, hit the ball flush and putted poorly. Very good choices to this point Bob. I am concerned about the next two😉

The Spider did not treat we XBoxers well. Some distractions this side of the border today, so I didn't get to updating the schedule or news in the forum, but after work tomorrow, I'll do a first week summary. DizzyDear2020 & I have a rivalry going, and ItsLuxurious has played in an event as well.
I did some checking, the TGC19 game had about 26,000 users 4 months after release, this one has 450,000 !! So the TGC community is about 1%. I need to do more tagged tweets, I've got a follower or 2 ... had the dentist thing and a bank errand that took an hour at the drive-through, but would have been maybe 15 minutes if the lobby had been open.
I started a thread in the clubhouse just to instigate discussion on random topics without hijacking others ..my own table in the corner, so to speak. Drop by and throw some chum in the water sometime ! A little design tonight, a last news check and an early wind-down. Think I was +3 in rnd 1 at Second Wind but I turned back up to Master about 5 holes in, once I felt warmed up 😁

Not gonna lie, given the history with Bob in the reviewer's section, this society probably comes off pretty poorly and looks as though you are just trying to stick it to people who delivered news you didn't agree with under the guise of helping underappreciated/underplayed courses. I personally don't care how you spend your time here or the holes you dig for yourself, but other people do, so this is really just a suggestion if you have intentions on having a good standing in this community.
The problem is not the philosophy of the society itself, it's that you are using the TGC Tours platform to undermine the views of its volunteers along with your history with the reviewers. I am all for giving underappreciated courses love; look up the "Bread's Crumbs" thread I ran a while back and you'll see I am an advocate for courses that may have fallen through the cracks, but it didn't take a bad rift to inspire me to start that activity. If what happened in the reviewer's thread didn't happen, I think this wouldn't be viewed so negatively. I would suggest recalibrating your search and find good courses that are not being rejected by reviewers. This can be courses that were accepted to the database but have very little plays or just searching the actual in game 2K21 database for random courses that are well done and nobody knows about. That is how I did Bread's Crumbs and it was viewed very positively.
Seriously just trying to give you input and suggestions here. People have said what they needed to say.

Mesquite Ntl. is a fun course and challenging off the tee. Shot 68,68. I putted poorly but tee to green was great. Only criticism was many of the bunkers were at odd angles and sculpted inconsistently. Good job TexasStateDad.

My money is ready to be given away. Playing terrible. Glad the promo event starts tomorrow. Limestone was a decent track. Lots a fuzzy brush work required and thicker planting of grasses. And too many pins next to red grids. Still a fun round 1. Starting 6,5 is never good so round 2 was challenging.

Nice shooting, David ! You have we XBoxers beat again. Glad to see a second PS player.
Hoping to add some players now that the hubbub is died down, and expand this standings table.
Looking for a good desert or steppe course to add in, without resorting to my own Kingman Canyon.

Updated, for those who care. Two new PlayStation members, so that's cool.

Miramichi was a bit of a misfire, but the next two courses are designed by members and played well in scouting rounds. Actually, the PlayStation side of the Island scored well under par, although I know not what settings they chose.
AFAIK, all XBoxers gave it a go on Masters to less-than-stellar results.

Some PS4 results As per TGCT scoring regulations I have the tiebreaker Bob. Birdies on 17,18. Charlie did not. PS gerek. If you want Legend Point on the schedule you better show up. It’s 6 total plays you can hardly afford to give up.

This was a fun season. Hope you are getting busy designing more courses for season 2!

Wow ... My sincerest apologies for how the season wound down. First I missed time when Krissy passed away, and then 2 power outages in a week at the end, downed trees to chop each day. Made a grocery run, but still lots of empty shelves down here.
Definitely NOT how I planned it.
The PS players mostly crushed XBoxers, and due to the limited # of players, the attendance points played a larger role than I intended. I haven't opened up the spreadsheet since the freeze, but later today I will try & make time.
As much as I enjoyed doing the legwork, I would only want to undertake it again for a slightly larger group of regular players. I am also torn between locking in a difficulty so it's easier to 'compete', or just using it as a course exposure vehicle, and hope members bring what I choose into their other societies.
Opening up 'Season 2' discussions to folks starting .... Now !
First thought ... 36 holes/3 days twice a week on user creations plus a special 'RCR' day 18-holer each week ?
