I have seen much worse on these boards than what bilko was saying. I find it a troubling that the view point above about how switching the Shakespeare course the way they did is being stated that it did not affect him, so piss off if it affected you. I think Doyley even commented to someone that if the shorter practice time was going to be an issue for you that you're not good enough. The mindset behind those comments are what people like bilko and others find frustrating. I get it, you are donating your time for this tour, and it is free for all to play. I enjoy it and thank you all for the time you put in. I don't think that should be a reason to have a individualistic and narcissistic attitude to dismiss how it may affect players like myself that are not as good as you. Given that this is your first post, I will start by saying welcome to the forums Banabooey. I will also assume unless convinced otherwise that you did not read the deleted posts that I am referring to. If that is the case, then you would require more context than you currently have to comment in an informed way. If you do know of the deleted posts I'm referring to then your comments are way off base. Feedback is always welcome here by the admins when it expressed in a polite and respectful manner. Look around the forums more and you'll see great examples of camaraderie and respect amongst and between members and admin.

This account was created 2 hours ago and you are completely versed in who bilko, Doyley, and some other members already? And you are in the know about tournament course selections and how that takes place? And you know the mindset of everybody and the complexities of how the site runs? Amazing.

Thank you for being polite about this. I understand that it is an unenviable task in trying to please the masses.
I also appreciate the hard work that goes on to make the TGC Tours operate, by all of the members in front of, and behind the scenes.
My only wish is that things operated at a slower pace, and that change if implemented was implemented with more notice. I have been a lower tier member of the European Tour since the beginning (meaning that I only make about 30% of the tour cuts that I attempt), and I try to keep up with things as best as I can as time permits. Things have seemed to take a very rapid pace of change of late, and makes it hard for the average TGC participant to keep abreast of all of the format/course changes, score submission dates/changes, and other miscellaneous things along the way.
I know it it is the first year of TGC Tours, and that things are attempting to be done at a very rapid pace to keep up with requests coming in from the avid/top players. My only wish is that when change is made that the less talented golfers/less avid participants are also thought of when changing courses, or dates/times, and other items that impact the entire field.
I tried to search on the TGC Tours main website to find the rules for tiebreak procedures, and was unable to find them on the FAQ. Perhaps it may be worthwhile to update those items if missing, or if I have searched improperly and they are there, perhaps put a link in a follow up post.

i've had a few posts removed tonight , because I dared to question the validly of the answers provided. I asked why if we have a a tie after 4 rounds, do we not have a Playoff? Only to be told it's too much hard work. I don't think it is and would only add to the drama, and would also replicate REAL TOUR CONDITIONS. A real tour has never been decided by lowest last round Forgetting the rest of it....Let's say an event ends at the weekend with 3 people tied for the lead split across PC, PS4 and XB1. A playoff would involved 3 new events being setup on all 3 consoles and all 3 of them finding time to play another round. Let's say two of them can only play rounds at weekends (as many can), are we supposed to wait until the following weekend for the playoff to be played and results of that event to be finalised? That's not drama, that's dragging it out for no reason. I saw the thread, you weren't told it was "too much hard work" or anything of the sort, you were told it was logistically very tricky to do, for the reason stated above.

You are right, amazing! When the first thing a person posts about is a contentious issue and uses terms like "narcissistic", especially if it is after months of reading the forums, it tends to bring their motives under question and opens them up to scrutiny. I just hope you choose to hang around and contribute in some positive ways, as well.
