I was wondering what happens in this scenario. I have a friend that is likely to tie for first this week, and wondered how we finally determine a winner

Lowest 4th round score and if they are still tied it goes to third round score etc etc.

Best final round score. If still tied, best 3rd round score. An then 2nd if still tied. Never had a tiebreaker go past the third rd score check i believe.

Why don't we have a layoff? It's supposed to be replicate real tours.? I've never known a real tour event be decided by lowest last round. That just stinks to me

Why don't we have a layoff? It's supposed to be replicate real tours.? I've never known a real tour event be decided by lowest last round. That just stinks to me We "replicate" the real Tours, we're not the real Tours. The schematics of a playoff are just too complicated at this time. |

It can't be that be that much trouble to ask the tied contestants to play 1 more round, it would add to the drama. And also replicate real tour conditions. Apparently that's what's you are trying to do

This is a site apparently set up to be fair to all its members, of which there are over over a thousand. But only the voices of 30 or 40 regular posters ever seem to be accommodated

We would have to set up a whole new Tournament, have it verified, and force the players to play it right away because the outcome could effect the next week's events. Everyone seems to understand and accept the way that ties are handled now...it's not going to be changed.

We can have a disagreement over the playoff, but start with the personal and you can find yourself on the outside looking in.
