Well that was fun, until my putter decided to betray me on the back 9 after that eagle.  Greens are tough and 13 can go straight to hell, Winds on Default are Very High and either helped me or just made everything worse, which is pretty much par for the course when it comes to Very High wind, all in all I'm no critic, I enjoyed the hell out of my round, course played good from the tips, I'll probably play the 4th pin later to see what Sunday plays like but this is a Dream Team course, you come in expecting it to be good and it was. |

Yup I've noticed leaving the conditions at default throws you into a battle out there. I didn't really design the course for mega high winds but it proves to be tough in them. I recommend low winds for anyone looking for a less frustrating time and to play the course more naturally. Some of you are probably up for the challenge though  |

I really enjoy well done tropical courses, and this course definitely fits that description. There are a lot of points of interest, but the 6th hole's sloped retaining wall was really cool for me personally. The overall environment is on point, and the planting nails the region you were going for. I had a lot of fun during my round. Fantastic publish sir!  |

All great points as usual Ben. I'm going to clear the air on this for all the daredevils out there. The greens are soft enough that you can 100% take a driver right into that short par 4 green on hole 6. If you can land near the middle of the green it will stay on. If you hit off center a bit it might cast you down one of the slopes but a couple bounces will usually slow it down enough to not go off the walls into the water. In low winds it's actually fairly easy to do. It takes a little more chops in medium winds and above because you have to be fairly accurate. I made quite a few eagles on that hole while playtesting Just needed to get it off my chest that it's not an impossible shot by any means. |
