Be interested to know how many still play rounds weekly outside of the Tours
Myself I've basically stopped playing society's bar maybe 1 or 2 before I play the Tours, my game has definitely suffered but just can't get excited to play multiple rounds🤷

I play two Societies outside of the Beer League at TGC Tours, Digital Sportspage Society and the official REDDIT2K Society. Digital Sportspage Society has a daily 18 hole tournament, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and a 36 hole tournament that can be played between Thursday and Saturday. If it's a major tournament, it will run 72 holes. I like this formula as it lets us see four different courses a week and doesn't weigh you down on the weekends, unless it is a major, where most players are willing to turn it up for four rounds.
The REDDIT2K Society is four rounds (all on the same course) over six days. That span allows plenty of time for the four rounds, but it can grind on you if you're not a fan of the course. It's been working for me most weeks though.
I will pop in and play an official 2K tournament occasionally, but only when it's a course I find particularly appealing. I don't really feel invested in the official 2K events, so I don't feel any loss of 'standing' when I don't play an event in it.

I play in one other society, TaylorMade world tour, although not this week because of playing two events here. I was playing in another one as well but then they changed the swing difficulty to pro am or something so I stopped because I find it too easy, which gets boring pretty quickly.
Whenever I finish my CC rounds for the week I usually just play the Pro tour events if I've finished my rounds in the TM society.

I'd be happy with one more Master difficulty society on PC, but I'm not complaining.

You forgot the NFL Stableford, where you lost to Arizona last week While you are right in the context of the original question about "rounds outside of the Tours", I'm afraid that I have to point out that my answer, which is aligned with Phlyer's, is restricted to the societies outside of the Tours. I am deeply sorry for this OCD-esque reply. By the way, since last week, I also play in OOBERR's society named "Rub Of The Green". Thus, I have to switch membership back and forth now, as my list of societies is full. May I also add that you haven't updated your signature yet. Sincerely, the Secretariat of the Cows and Tees

I’ve probably bitten off more than I can chew as outside the tours I’m in XB1 seniors, CUCC and S&M! I was one of those players that had to always practice a few times before I played my rounds and I had to be relaxed and feel ready but I’ve come to the conclusion the more I play hopefully the better I will get and not practising so much and just going out there to play and what will be will be as it’s just a bit of fun at the end of the day.

Yeah, I don't play practice rounds at all, my time is pretty full just playing the actual rounds without adding more on top. Especially now I play the platinum event for that golden cow thing. 8 rounds a week plus the TM society rounds, if I played more I wouldn't have much time for anything else. Most times I don't find it too difficult to work out where to place shots anyway, it's usually pretty apparent what will work best.

I dont play in any other societies, but I play 2v2 online with a buddy fairly often. Also just play some heads up online....you know when you can actually get into a match and the game doesn't crash...😖

I run a society can can’t get excited. Match play on weekends is a blast with friends. But single rounds just don’t do it. LOVE LOVE ATHE TOURS but the rest I just don’t concentrate

Occasional matches on XBLive, and a regular daily round for a rivalry w/a PS player, plus usually a round on a random course for a warmup before CC play.
It's still a version of playing GOLF, dammit, so, no it will never grow tiring.
