I've saw a thread similar to this from 2018, but figured I'd expand on it here.
I'm always interested in the holes that designers feel are their best ones, whether the design, the look, the backstory, etc. Every hole has a story, but there are certain holes that are the "Sistine Chapel" of the designers portfolio.
Second, there are holes we've played that we will never forget. Whether it was the beauty, the framing, the difficulty, etc.
Designers: Pick one each, of your par 3's, par 4's and par 5's and tell us why you love it. Provide pictures if possible and share why you love each hole so much. Provide as much detail as you want!
Players: Pick one each, of a par 3, par 4 and par 5 that you've played and tell us why you love it.
Provide the course name and designer if possiible.
Let's love on these favorite holes and I plan on creating a "PGA2K21 Top Holes" contest and awarding the "Top par 3, par 4 and par 5".
So let's hear what you have to say.

Not sure if this counts with them being real courses but these are my favourite holes i have designed on UK real courses Par 3---Royal Troon (*** ******) hole 8 (The Postage Stamp) Not really much to say a classic short hole usually played against the wind to a really narrow green. Par 4 Classic Short par 4 the 6th Hunstanton Golf club. Again usually played against the wind only 330 yards in length but with a raised sloping green can wreck scorecards. Par 5 The new 3rd hole at Royal Cinque Ports A new tee added in 2019 to me its just the Terrain and the green which really makes this hole, usually plays with the wind so its a good birdie chance. So admire fictional designers for what they come up,i think its the hardest thing to do to come up with a well balanced course depending on the winds.

I enjoyed recreating the hilltop short hole from Sleepy Hollow CC. Course is a long, long way from being done plus it's stuck on the PS4 hard drive.
Good progressive thread this. Will use it to randomly post some of mine, and others holes that I like.

Par 3: Definitely hole 7 at Minnehaugen Park. Might be my favorite hole I’ve ever designed. Elevated redan with the “three sister” bunkers guarding the inside. Inspired by Swinley Forest 4th hole. Probably the hole I spent the least amount of time on for this course because it came together so naturally. Par 4: Hole 18 at Kathmandu Valley. My first ever publish. I don’t think I will ever design a more dramatic finishing hole from a visual standpoint. Par 5: This one was tougher to come up with a favorite but I’d say hole 6 at Green Inferno. Tons of options and risk off the tee. This was a quirky fun short course all around and I just loved designing this tee shot. Unfortunately don’t have a great picture. This is early but you get the idea.

I started on this, but it's like choosing a favorite among the grandchildren 😜 I have to break it down even further, And I only have nine courses to consider ...
It's impossible for me as a player, tbh. Too many great holes out there to keep track of.

It's impossible for me as a player, tbh. Too many great holes out there to keep track of. Let's modify it to some of your favorite designed par 3, 4, 5's and same for ones you've played. Perhaps one day we create a "Greatest Designed Hole" bracket and have the community vote, but for now I just want to highlight great holes and designs that are easy to miss with the influx of courses every day!

Im kind-of split down the middle on picking ones for this one, I've made what I consider my most aesthetically pleasing hole recently and I think of it as my best, but I also have my favorite hole in terms of strategy. This thread also feels like a great place to brag and show the equivalent of golf course baby photos so I'm down. Hole 17 of my current Work In Progress is my favorite looking hole I've ever made: Hole 14 at Bohemian Club is probably the most interesting strategy hole Ive ever built using strange elevation changes and a crazy second shot
