104 foot putt during my CC-F rounds at Royal St. Michaels Links hole 16. Sure I could have chipped it, but what's the fun in that??

Excellent speed too! To hell with the green chippers.. the satisfaction of making that bomb canβt be matched by chipping on the damn green. Outside 75 ft?? Putt it...

Nice putt !! That's one that surely got a few fist pumps!! Excellent speed too! To hell with the green chippers.. the satisfaction of making that bomb canβt be matched by chipping on the damn green. Outside 75 ft?? Putt it... That was my thought exactly. I actually switched to a wedge for a second and though "what's the fun in this?". Making that putt feels 1000 times more rewarding than if I had chipped it in. Honestly, I might not have liked it at all if I had chipped it in. The only time I have chipped on the green is when I have such a severe break that I have to aim off of the green, or if it's so far uphill that even a full swing won't get there. Both cases being so rare that I've only done it a couple times.
