Really really really enjoyed this one! An instant 5-star favourite. Springbrook is an honest no frills fictional design based on some classic golf architecture that plays real. The overall aesthetic and lighting were very well done. Love the movement in the land and the perspective across the course from many vantage points. Precise approach shots critical here to shooting a good score. The greens were so much fun to play. Thank you for your great work joegolferg . Excuse my ignorance but what other courses have you designed for 2K21. I'm loving the MacDonald/Raynor style and am a fan of clv's Raynor Farms, esp. the backstory.

I feel like I learned a lot from this course on how to use templates properly, some of the ingenuity and style you added to these templates made the course play unique despite the common gripes people have with "template design". This might be the course that pushes me over the edge into wanting to do a template course myself. An absolute stunner and one of the best in terms of minimalist (but very effective!) planting. an inspirational course for sure

I love your template courses joe and this one was brilliant! Loved the design and the textures you used and the chocolate drops on several holes were a “sweet” touch! This one went right to the favorites! Good luck in the contest! I thought the hummocks would be universally hated (except by maybe Dylan) that's why I put them in... lol thanks for the play and kind words.

Very glad to hear you enjoyed the course and thanks a lot for playing. So far this is my only course in 2K as I was on PS4 for TGC2019. I will eventually port over my past courses when I get the game on PS4, most of those courses are also Raynor style template courses so hopefully you'll enjoy those too. You could try Old Ainsdale which I built with B101. That's a British links course with templates.

Planting has never been something I take pride in or even bothered to master, as you can tell lol. My passion lies in the hole designs and sculpting on this game. Thanks for playing and the kind comments, like you, I'm also heavily influenced by other people's designs on here so it's good to hear you've been inspired by this particular course.

This. Hate seeing courses like this described as 'just another template course'. Might as well say 'just another coastal course' or 'just another links'. It's a style and the art is making them different - this is totally different to Raynor Ridge, to Fairyland, to Southern Straits etc etc. For me, the internal contouring on the greens gave this a feel that I've never had from a Joe G course and I absolutely loved that aspect.

Brilliant course, joe. I had the pleasure of playing it the other day with hmammoth right before he decided to snag it from all the other tours.

These MacRaynor/Templete courses are so hard to get right and it's so hard to make each hole flow into the next. Well done sir, well done.

I played this course this morning in The Perfect Mazsters Society on Xbox. Liked it alot. At first glance I thought the greens looked crazy and they were set at 187. Even when I short sided myself I didn't have a hard time getting up and down. They putted great and the layout was very strategic. Awesome 5 star course for me. Shot -3 and only one other had same score with no one else under par, 6 or 7 totals scores.

hickoryghost Joe really does continue to improve and refine his prowess in this style and this is a leap forward in that regard, the texturing palette he has settled on really highlights everything you’d want in a course like this and the expansive views are tremendous in places like the 3rd tee which is an early highlight for me. some great images you’ve included there too mate, the editing as always with your shots is bang on, nicely done!
