New content coming...seems like the Rocket Mortgage Classic and Detroit Golf Club are part of it, as well as new gear including Mizuno clubs.

At least they stayed on brand. And they are charging ppl for the clubhouse pass? With the game as broken as it is? Yikes.
But I'm happy to hear about the new clubs. A driving iron would be lovely.

Try this: pgatour.2k.com/clubhouse/It does cost money for the full experience. There is a free tier, but you only get rewards after every fifth level up to level 75. Accessing all 75 levels of rewards is $8. For $15, you get all 75 levels of rewards, but also get to skip the first 20 levels and automatically unlock those rewards right away. And Season One lasts from today until 3/3/21. |

Apprehensive about the monetization. Is it only for the outfits/clubs, or courses too? Two different tiers is concerning too. Does the second just boost XP/Coin earn rates? (Nevermind, just read the link.)
They have been good so far, but it's hard to trust 2K looking at games like NBA 2K.
Even though the game has (theoretically) infinite courses, it's good to see officially supported content. There are players out there that don't know about this site and are probably sick of the meme courses in Trending, so I'm glad we are getting them. Plus, we get to play them too! I would love to see them do a "fantasy" course pack with some of the best courses from creators in the game getting the official label.
Hopefully lots of bugfixes too. We'll find out!

This was to be expected. The only reason I'd be upset with this is if any of the clubs are clearly better than anything in the base game. I'll buy the $8 tier regardless, but I really hope this doesn't turn into a pay to win thing.

I'm glad they are adding something. Gives me hope that they haven't totally abandoned it yet and really hope to see the Xbox X's users get their fix in. Hope that comes with this update..(I'm a PC player btw)
Season pass thing doesn't bother me at all, if thats how they want to get new content in the game then so be it. I play Destiny 2 and they do "Seasons". Each lasts 3 months, (last season was extended due to the pandemic and Bungie having to learn how to carry on while working from home so they could get they new season out..Came out 3 weeks ago along with a major expansion)
I look forward to Destiny's new season every time it comes, it breathes new life into the daily grind of the game. Hope HB's season model has the same effect. Give me some motivation to start up 2K21 and grind towards a goal.
So props to HB for it, whilst silently hoping they fix bugs next week. No more pumpkin hats or fish though lol
