Committed to a look and really pulled it off well. The short par 4 was one of the most fun drives I hit all night playing through a ton of courses, that shot was intense. Super clean design with plenty of strategic shot values. Great work!

Enjoyed the challenge and the look of the course with the Aussie theme.
Cheers Brian

Thanks Ben, glad you enjoyed your round, was eagerly anticipating your playthru and it delivered as always, if only your playing was as good as the review 😂😂😂 new tempo issues after the patch are real! Thanks for taking the time to highlight some of the features and clubhouse area etc. which reminds me to fill out the google form which I’ll do now, cheers

Wow. nice job. Really enjoyed this one. Thought it might be Augusta clone but no, it has it's own identity for sure. Really like the layout and the fact you don't just bash everything with a driver. Smart layups here will probably be the way to go. Great job, Rod.

Smart layups here will probably be the way to go. Great job, Rod. Thanks Rich, thanks for the comment and a couple of really good pickups if I might add. I was really conscious during the build that I didn’t want the course to feel gimmicky in anyway and it’s not really until 14&15 that you really get the sense of it being truly Augusta inspired. I wanted to keep all my nods to the great course Augusta subtle enough to give this course like you mentioned it’s own identity, glad you sensed that. Secondly, with my hole designs I wanted to challenge the Tour club sets as everyone is playing them with little thought to is the club set too long? I’ve designed the holes in a way to challenge this thought and potentially on another round and/or under tournament settings in particular would you sense this and drop back to a shorter more forgiving club set. As you mentioned a lot of holes require some extra thought as to where you’d ultimately try to leave your tee shot and is dropping back to 3wd costing you too much in distance loss? Again thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed the round!

That was fun, I always get a kick out of your colourful commentary and this did not disappoint! I also really enjoyed the fly around at the start, you’re a master with the controls zooming around. Stoked you enjoyed your round and thanks for taking the time to put that together mate. Oh yeah great shot into the last as well, pity you missed the putt for eagle to close it out, it deserved to drop!

Looks amazing buddy! I would love to book a tee time, but the course looks a little private... hope the security guards have an off day tomorrow...
I also like the fact that you used the power of creative truth (faked) the Alister Mackenzie story when you started referring to Australia's ******* (I'm taking no risks). Lucky the rest of the story was real though, he left a great legacy in design.

Haha nice, I’ve managed to get you on tomorrow, please make your way through the front service entry and into the car park, from there head into the clubhouse, they’re expecting you, not sure if you wanted a Caddy but they are available on request, enjoy!

Probably coulda used a caddy after that round... I barely scraped an under par round with a birdie on 18. Absolutely beautiful, lush, green course with a lot of subtle strategy. And I didn't get attacked by any of the members for not wearing a jacket and tie in the clubhouse so it's a win-win!
