jeffvadersith I thought you might appreciate this. A few months ago Bristol was in the news when protesters dragged down the statue of slave trader Edward Colston in the city centre and chucked him in the harbour. The empty plinth has remained there ever since, I think Colston himself is on his way to a museum where he belongs. David Prowse, who you will know played Darth Vader, was from Bristol. Last week following his passing, this appeared on the plinth in Colston's place.... There are a lot of people who think this would make a good permanent statue! Here's hoping...
