Clearly a ton of work shaping the land went into this plot & course!
Loved the overall wild, badlands style look of the course and plot!
Clubhouse and area were very, very cool!
Loved the risk/reward of the drivable #10.
Framing on #14 was spectacular and the mountain backdrop enhanced it even more!
Framing on #15 was almost perfect, but trees down left side didn't provide a portrait of a beautiful looking hole otherwise.
Just my thoughts here, so take them for one person's opinion.
Felt like there many blind tee shots that were unnecessary and it seemed like most of them were do to not sculpting the edge, so one could tell where the fairway was. For this to get full use an especially true-swing areas the blind tee shots and some blind bunkers would need to be fixed.
Found, or actually my ball found, many areas of the fairway/rough that were pronounced slopes and a small, fuzzy flattening of the whole edges would be in keeping with what I've understood to be normal course design stuff.
Also, felt blind shot to 9th took away from viewing a really good golf hole/green. lowering the front edge, so we could see green would make it beautiful AND tough!
Par 5's were spectacular and tough!
Overall this was on the verge of spectacular, except for the items listed above.
Congrats on a very strong course!

My goodness what a wonderful course! The planting alone makes this one so special but the golf is very good too. Lots of strategic elements on this one to keep it interesting throughout. Awesome job and good luckšš»!

This will be course #1 tonight kicking off around 6pmEST. Being that we have a special night for the Xbox stream today I wanted to pull one of the better courses I have seen in this contest. Tonight will be a Fighting Cancer with fi3ry! night in an effort to raise money for a person with stage 3 lung cancer. Donations are surely appreciated but not anything that is required. I know we have alot of good people here who may be willing to help. This cause is an important one to one of our very own so we decided to do this tonight. I'll bump this thread as I only just got round to this one. Amazing environment and setting, the planting was so well done. Only thing I'd say for a critique is a couple of the hole designs were a little odd - I didn't really like 14 as an almost-700-yard par five - but this one blew me away on a visual note and I really enjoyed the funky shorter fours!

Just played my practice round here for the CC Tour. Really liked this course, fun to play. A lot of elevation changes, wide fairways, great Greens, and excellent environment. Cool idea, well executed, very well done.
