Set on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific, Camino del Mar presents the player with a strategic journey around a picturesque plot. While not overly long, Camino del Mar's 6900 yd par 70 layout should be approachable while still presenting challenges to the worlds best. Entry into the 2020 Dream Team Competition.

This is classic Fritsch at his best, but there is something else that needs to be said... ...... Solid job Matt.

reminder that the working title for this was "Torrey but better".
From how it looks, it's a lot better.

Just finished playing this and really amazing capturing of the elements of a course straight out of Carmel Bay and northern California coastlines. Huge, rolling fairways and greens to match. I'm not a top notch golfer in the game, but I love simply playing beautiful golf courses an enjoy the scenery, as much as the joystick back and forth. I found myself distracted from the views to focus on my game, so I shot 76, but it was a fair course with lot's of scoring opportunities or in my case, lost shots to bad placements. The only "complaint" I'd have is that the lighting for the shots facing the sun were a bit overwhelming and I wonder if changing it would let the shadowing, etc of the holes really pop, rather that being washed out by the intense light. Again I'm a newbie and it's a small thing, but is the only area that I would loved to have had changed. Then again, it's like an elementary drawer telling Michaelangelo how to paint the Sistine Chapel! Great entry and well done! Wonderful course. Beautiful views with a nice mix of coastal and inland holes with each hole feeling unique and presenting new challenges. It was nice to catch a few of your streams and seeing this come together as it did. Great job and good luck.

Absolutely incredible look. Each hole has excellent framing and feel, no tree feels out of place. So many greens perfectly line up with the horizon forming that "infinity green" look. It feels like the longer I stare at any angle of this course, the more I can find minute details. The color palette is wonderful as well. As for how it plays, I can't find any illegal pins on this one! The greens are tamer than the other entries I played but still provide a subtle challenge.

Absolutely phenomenal. normally I'm ready to be done with a round by the end... yet when i putted out at 18, I was disappointed there wasn't more (despite getting my butt kicked).
Early favorite in this contest.

Just immaculate. This course has some of the most stunning visuals I’ve ever seen! Everything was perfect. Sculpting, playability, interesting ways to attack the hole. You name it, this course has it! Absolutely wonderful job Sir! This course is a true work of art!😭 (those are tears of joy, FYI)

Nice course Matt. Very good job at the lighting. Think on hole 5 I got robbed. Hit the pin on the fly and it rolled off the green. Got Lucky on next shot and hit the pin again but it went in!
