I was able to complete and publish tonight. Go play this historical gem. Originally, designed by Devereux Emmet and redesigned by Walter Travis. The course is not long, coming in at just under 7,000. For proper immersion, the course is playing firm and fast as the design is suited for the ground game. In addition, WIND is a must (moderate at a bare minimum, high is recommended). The course is situated on the Hempstead Plain of long island and is exposed to wind. It is one of the course's defenses. Wide fairways, but punishing rough and deep bunkers put a premium on hitting the fairway which can play narrower than they appear in firm codnitions. Greens can be tricky with subtle breaks and internal contouring. 4 & 15 greens are the hardest on the course, stay below the hole. Enjoy!

does it usually take a little while for it to show up after publish? If it's published on a different console, yes.

After putting my opening tee shot in a greenside bunker, I decided to leave the driver in the bag for the rest of the round for a better experience. Although in hindsight, the course can almost do that itself with the number of fairways that run out into rough. It's an interesting idea to think of a golden age course that naturally has a deterrent to length built in, whereas a modern course built that way might be considered a gimmicky attempt to limit distance.
What a beautiful introduction that first green is too!
Thanks for putting this together.

Brilliant. I love the short, well guarded holes. Such a cool atmosphere overall.
