Hi I'm planning recreating another local course to me, Wells golf club in Somerset England.
I've mapped the whole course on open street maps using the bing layer.
However when chads tool has processed both the lidar data and open street maps, when opening in the game both the lidar / open street maps don't quite line up.
I can see where you can adjust the data in chads tool, that's not my issue but I'm lost as to how I go about finding out the adjustments I need to be put into the adjustment in chads tool.
I've tried adjusting on open street maps on each different layer, and then using these offset figures in chads tool, but nothing sits right or works correctly.
If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated

there's lots of help on this issue in the forums -- best to map a green and a couple of bunkers on OSM and then take that into the game and see how it lines up before you go any further. expirement with different map sources other than Bing, or figure out the offset adjustments to make in OSM (again, in the forums) to get you on your way.
since you've mapped the whole course, probably best to search out how to adjust the OSM layer until you can get it lined up. there's an offset adjustment in Chad's tool as well.

If the LiDAR and OSM do not line up you need to fine shift in the tool.
Look at bunkers and other features and use the measure tool to measure how many meters “off” the alignment is and then look at the compass to see which direction the misalignment is.
Then go into the tool and “shift terrain” by the mean amount of meters in the direction you want to move the OSM features.
If you get stuck PM me and you can send the file and I’ll do this for you. It’s easier for me to do it then it is to explain it sometimes.
Another factor is have there been changes to the course? I use google earth pro to examine the course in relation to the year the LiDAR was captured. UK LiDAR is often fairly old so it may be that the recent Bing map isn’t relevant if the bunkers have been renovated or if there’s been major changes

Thank you for your replys.
I've figured where in chads tool the various adjustment figures need to go an then re running the tool.
Having spent over 8 hours at the weekend trying to figure the adjustment levels needed out, unfortunately I'm still not that much closer to getting everything lined up.
I'm pretty sure the course needs to move south east, but whatever adjustment I make something else is thrown out, so it's proving a bit more difficult than perhaps it should be
Everything has been mapped on bing, and the lidar data has the slopes in the correct places, but I just can't quite get open street maps lined up to it yet.
