In, but playing way worse using PRO, go figure??? Yeah I've found on Pro sometimes I can lose concentration and then I'll go on on a spell between grey fasts and perfects which can result in a lot of pars. As opposed to on Master where I absolutely had to be Perfect or it was bogey-central, which when I was on would lead to a lot of birdies. So on Master it was either perfect or dead (leading to some great rounds or some relatively bad ones), but on Pro at times I can have a lot of mediocre middle ground rounds... It's still definitely easier though haha.

The swing is definitly easier, but there's something else that comes with it. The expectation. When new season begins here, it's gonna be funny to read people's scores. Nobody will be complaining that tempo wasn't there today anymore, yet frustration will be higher than before. Swearing while posting 4 double-digits rounds will happen!😄

If Plat went to legend swing I wouldn't be against it.

If Plat went to legend swing I wouldn't be against it. I would too. I played Legend alot in the past and I'm equal or better than alot of players I don't beat often at Masters. I played like E and +7, it was horrible at the end of round 2. Can't judge this, augusta or this fruityland are my nemesis. Even at Master I rarely play better than -4. I tried everything! I'm affraid traditional Platinium and conditions would be way too much for my skills. Could get there, would be kicked quickly! haha! I understand the switch to Pro. I just don't understand at all why it's gonna be the same difficulty

Dear Happy Tee Friends, What is new for Season 6? We are now at 40 players, which means that 10 teams are competing for the Golden Trophy Tee and hence Season 6 will be 9 weeks long! Please give a warm welcome to our new participants Palutena, boredomop , philhen27, PistolPete, carp_man_alf, adamrosevear , itzopie , whysoserious21 , Smijti , stadiumrocker , antonex145 , rzuchero and backup ScottieWalnuts In terms of scoring, we have changed the round 2 matchups. Instead of seeds 1 and 2 facing seeds 3 and 4, round 2 is now seeds 1 and 3 against seeds 1 and 3. Recall that, with seed 1 as an example, this would yield: - seed 1 meet twice in a match (more generally, same seed meet twice), namely in rounds 2 and 3 - seed 1 meets seed 2 and 3 once in a match, namely in rounds 1 and 2 - seed 1 never meets seed 4 (note that this does not mean that pool 1 never meets pool 4 since seeding numbers are redistributed for each fixture according to a rotation principle) Next week, the 10 teams will be set up by means of a draft. Just like for previous seasons, all participants will be ranked according to recent performance (mostly HTF individual average score plus TGC tournaments for new members) and then subdivided into 4 pools. Each team captain is then allowed to choose players from the three pools he does not belong to. This is realized by ranking the available players of each pool from 1st choice to last choice. Once all ranked lists are available, we proceed to the allocation of players to the teams. Here, each captain receives the highest ranked player that is available when it's his turn. Finally, the team compositions are communicated here in the thread and on Discord. Here's the detailed Timeline: This upcoming week: - until Sunday September 19: communication of draft pools and draft order - until Tuesday September 21: captains submit their choices via PM to the draft supervisor (the sooner the better) - Wednesday September 22: communication of the teams - until Saturday September 25: captains set up their team chats (optional) and communicate the name of their team In TGCT-week 1: - Start of Season 6 Cheers, The Happy Secretariat

Dear Happy Tee Friends, in particular, dear Season 6 captains cjb2 InsanericK boredomop chegsy corey bmells33 rundownman6 EvilTak stadiumrocker Welcome to the Season 6 draft! As in previous iterations, the entire draft procedure will be supervised by our Surly Supervisor Art Vandelay . Art, thank you so much for your repeated availability, which underlines the total integrity of this exercise. Let me start by reminding you of your duties as HTF-captain: - Draft players. For this, you only need to write a PM to the Surly Supervisor Art Vandelay containing your draft picks. This PM should include three lists (one for each draft pool you don't belong to), where you rank all available players within the respective draft pool from 1st choice to last choice. - Choose a team name. For this, you simply communicate the chosen team name in this thread. - (Optional) Set up a team chat. For this, you go to "Messages", then "Create Message", and then you invite all players of your team. And here are the draft pools (the ten captains are not eligible and hence in red): Pool 1 | Pool 2 | Pool 3 | Pool 4 | Baeyens | Boredom | Aerts | Cheghall | Cassino | Dempsey | Baldwin | Classon | Gaudreault | Hen | Beaudry | Hanevik | Gwyn | Lasko | Branca | Melius | Santos | Lauzé | Bryan | Parra | Schneider | Löfström | Engels | Ricks | Tagariello | Manalf | Everard | Thomas | Talley | Sampieri | Kroes | van Smijt | Titots | Smitty | Rosevear | Viturro | Warburton | Zuchero | Singhal | Wilson | |
Please note that in light of the switch to pro difficulty, the above classification is even more speculative than usual. I will set up and communicate the turn order of captains for each draft pool in a separate post. Of course, you can send your draft priority lists independently of that right now already. Cheers, The Happy Secretariat
