Welcome on ~Shutter Island~
First of all, a Big Thanks to 15eicheltower9 and mattf27 ! <3 Both helped me a lot with some feedback to my last course Luna Falls and i am pretty thankful and appriciate your time to help me out!
Some words to the course. The course is something special for me, just because i try the first time to recreate a real course (Port Royal Golf-Bermuda), for that i doesnt use LiDAR or something like that, i just use This picture and draw my eyes on it to create this course. I keep most of the fairway shapes and the bunker placements around the course, i just redesign most of the greens and the elevations are also totally different to the real course and most importantly, i gave the course a totally new look, actually it's a tropical course but now it shines in a boreal theme look. So basically it's a completely new course and it has my own grade and maybe I'm a little in love with the result!
The course himself is a 6865 yds Par 71 course with some long Par 3`s, challenging Par 4 holes and a couple reachable Par 5`s.
I hope you enjoy it, GL&HF! And now its time to take a look, first some pictures and then you should get your golfcart ready and drive around the course! Hop Hop. xD

Looks amazing. Love the combo of the forests and then opening up to the ocean. Bunkering looks a lot better as well

Layout looks like a blast. I'll definitely give it a play later tonight.

This one is very easy on the eyes. I'll definitely be playing a round on this course.

Really fun course. Not too long, but still challenging in spots. I had a really round going until a couple bad holes on the back that kept it from being one of my best rounds in 2K21. Wasn't the biggest fan of the opening hole as I don't care for 90 degree doglegs, but that's just a personal preference on my part and didn't take away from my enjoyment at all. There were some areas in the rough close to the fairway that could be touched up with a rough brush, but maybe the brown look was what you were going for in places. The planting was well done as was your fence work. I find those hard accomplish properly, but yours looked well done around pathways and sides of cliffs. Greens had nice slopes in them as well. Not flat, but not overbearing either. Definitely enjoyed my round and will be back again in the future. Nice work.

Oh yeah, i see your 14th hole score, that must be awefull after a very solid round! At least, its not bad wjhat you score there, tbh. You are right, i want a bit that "shabby-look" on the edges on th efairway, on ereason for that i like the look, the 2nd reason is its not that easy to keep that rustic look on all fairways, if u use the brush, it most of the time looks very clean, and i dont want that. Hard to explain with my bad english. ^^ But maybe you understand what i mean?! Whatsoever, nice that you have a good time on it and i REALLY appreciate your feedback! Its something rare and for that i am really thankful.

Just got done and really enjoyed it. The planting is absolutely wonderful on this course! Breathtaking even! Several of the hole designs were top notch too. There was only 2 things that I didn’t care for. The bunkers in the fairways that have no rough around them just don’t look right to me. It’s more personal preference then anything though. They were well sculpted and all just not a fan of that look. I think hole #3 could have benefited from a drop area short of the hazard but that’s probably because I put not one but two in the drink😤! Overall though this is a really nice course and deserves some plays. Keep at it!

Kind of weird to see you playing like that @chrisswift ! xD but THANKS for trying out! Great chip-in on hole 2! Really busy at the moment David, getting loads of interruptions when playing a round, sometimes taking me 2 hours to finish 🤣 So can't find the time to edit the video's. There's no flyover now on console,so thought I'd try replay mode, sometimes shows the course off in a new perspective, after all it's all about the course not my playing 😊 Fantastic course again, you just keep getting better and better 👏
