The question here is: if your work on this platform helps inform their design, marketing, and how they build it, will they then send a cease-and-desist after it's real and ban us from playing it? Kidding - hopefully! I think they're smart enough to recognize the marketing and publicity value, of course...unlike others who don't seem to get that our ability to play it here can actually increase an addressable market and desire to play it for real. Granted, the most elite, private courses like Augusta don't care, and I understand the intellectual property/licensing balance and perspective as well... Anyway, I imagine it's moot on this one - great work... They are very cool to deal with and embrace this side of it for sure. As you said, the Augusta guys are always trying to protect their brand, but I really don't understand why any course like Pebble would care. It's not like anybody elects not to play there because they can do it from their couch.

I've just noticed that some of the images shown in the Fried Egg article and on the TheLido.com are being labeled as from the "Wisconsin Lido" digital renderings...does that mean that a "Wisconsin Lido" version of the course will be published in 2K21 anytime soon? Pretty, pretty please?!?! I didn't want to publish it before their marketing release. I would just have to install back tees again. Here is how it looks though. Even though it's different than the original site, I really like the look of it. The original was cool, but it also had telephone poles, housing, a road through the middle, visible parking lots, etc. This setting will be very open and different in its own way. For this one, the concept is that the beach is still intact to the right, and instead of ocean, there are waves of sand with enough long grass to make it a bad outcome if you slice it all the way over. But the beach area would probably be groomed daily as if the tide smoothed it out. Simply gorgeous images man. Incredible stuff.

Indeed, it's not like people will stop showing up at Troon or St. Andrews just because we're playing them in the game here...

Hickory Ghost, are you able to publish the updated version to TGC 2019 for sim play? or is "NLE_TEST 08" is the only version?
