Very up and down first round from the red tees. Hit it into the ravine on 10 on one of the worst shots I've ever hit in this game. Loved the course though. Every tee and approach shot offers something new from the previous and nothing feels repetitive, which I find is hard to accomplish a lot of the time with many courses I play. Good job in cleaning up some of the planting and retaining walls too. Made it look even better than the beta version. Looking forward to playing from the other tees as well for an even more different experience. Can't recommend this course enough.

Did you create everything from scratch or integrate Mackenzie’s 9 hole Northwood Club (which sits next door to Bohemian Grove) into this course? This started as a northwood project and ended up being something different so it is completely from scratch. I found "Muir Woods Golf Club" in the database and it already does that idea with the "redwood trees" pretty well so I felt I should do something a little different. Being able to blend Boreal and Delta themes into a more accurate Northern California look was appealing Blending the delta textures with the boreal tree options was an excellent choice here, well done. I have not played it yet but I really like the overall look you created and it seems like you put a lot of thought into the environment and the overall sense of place which I really appreciate.

Finished all four rounds on each tee with different pins.
Red: +1 Green: -1 Blue: E White: -6
I really liked the short par 4's the most. Those by far had a different feel than a lot of other holes because on some tees they were drivable, and others they weren't. The white tee on 17 is in such a different spot from the first three, I thought I was playing a different hole, lol.
This course has so much replayability. Because of the manipulated tees, you can change the pin sets to go along with them so you have 16 actual different variations as opposed to just a shorter/longer course with other designs.

I'm glad the course isn't playing too hard. You can ofc crank up the difficulty by making the greens Very Fast and adding wind but I prefer my courses on the easier side of the spectrum

Fun course man, I dig the look. I’m in a love hate relationship with the walking path! Lots of things I like and specially second shot on 18 when the ball is in the air you can see bunch of other holes.
Cheers

Out of curiousity would they make more sense as dirt paths? I'm a real fan of showing setup walking trails on golf courses as I also tend to walk them over using a golf cart.

I am not 100%, maybe sometimes it seems like there are too many, maybe due to the 4 useable tee box? Maybe they could have joined closer to the tee and go to the fairway. Maybe it is just the color that makes them pop more than anything.
I love the one that goes up the hill to a tee box and you can see from the green on 17 (I think)
No big deal here, still a good looking course!

The heavy rough in this game doesn't really look "heavy" enough for the pathways to make as much sense, I definitely am going to try something different with my next design! I am glad you liked the course and there's still a lot for me to improve on.

I loved this course man, it was a lot of fun. I watched the Canuck video too and enjoyed his breakdown of it.
The tee manipulation is so interesting to me, it adds a lot of replayability, I hope it gets picked up by the CC at some point.
I have a society with my high school friends and just scheduled this for next week. Does the course pay OK with moderate greens? Many of the guys are causal players and I feel like fast and very fast might be a little tough. I see you haven't recommended them in the OP but just wanted to get your take on it or any other ways I could make it play a bit easier. Don't get me wrong, the course plays great for me but my friends are not very good lol.

thanks DP there are so many good courses right now that it probably wont happen, but we'll see! For making the course easier try these things: Low Wind, Soft Greens. I have never played moderate so I assume the greens will be a little boring. Blue tees are probably the hardest tees just as a heads up

The concept with the tees is brilliant. I've considered something similar before but I just can't make it work. Every time I love one tee back last another, they switch colours so I can't replicate it.
How did you manage it? If you don't mind me asking
