Wow I had to do a double take thought those photos were of a real course you were wanting to make. Great job!

Use the countryside theme with the lowest back drop and raise your plot up to near the max. From ground view you'll see nothing but tree tops. Course looks interesting and I'll play and comment on it tomorrow. Ah, interesting technique. I hadn't thought to try that. Can you post some pics of what it looks like? I sort of did it with my Fairyland GC course earlier this year. Although the background wasn't sat at it's lowest it still gave off that feel you're talking about. Here's a playthrough by Jimgem.

Almost forgot, I also did this with Raynor Ridge which is a parkland course. Thanks for posting. Yeah, that works. From the ground level, it is the same effect, but its benefit is really on the flyovers and elevated ball cams. I will give it a try. I'm still perplexed that we can't expand an elevation tool shape to cover the entire plot. Can't they just tweak the code a little to expand that limit?

Really liked the beta man. Thought it was a great take on the classic american parkland style. Liked the look of the greens surrounded by just fairways no rough or bunkers on some holes, thought it was a nice mix up, overall looking very forward to the completion of this project this is my favorite style when done well and this was that.

Man. Beauty photos of your course. That’s got to be the most realistic course I’ve seen. So subtle, all the details look so well thought out. Looking forward to playing!
