Hi just had a round with a friend on the web tour but second round was messed up couldn't carry on, anyone else have this problem. Getting fed up playing rounds solo , its not what I bought this game for...

This problem has been noted in the past. It's sort of a "proceed at your own risk" kind of thing. Have to consider other factors as well. Did you proceed to the next round after the one you played with a partner and did you hit at least one shot?

Yea, I'm not sure of the fail-safe way to do this. I know that you must start the round by both going to the first tee and then adding each other (as opposed to using join game/invite/messages etc). But beyond that I'm not sure if there's a way you need to finish each round - ie leave and come back or just continue on.
Maybe there are other members that have been doing this successfully.

I find if youre both on the first tee. Pause, goto change rivals, friends live. Most times shows your friend there. Add him to round, and done. I believe only one person needs to do this. Once you add your friend, you will pop up on his screen. Hope this helped, and I agree it's an extreme pain!

Yes we continued onto the second round and I seemed to be playing against my playing partners first round shots

I would recommend playing against his ghost, not live.

We hadn't played a round together yey but happened to be on the 3rd round at the same time. Worked perfectly.
