No, you have to be a guest of a member. But just saying that if you weren't, you could still make it to the parking lot. It doesn't have a guard gate like a lot of clubs.
And at most clubs with a guard gate, the guard doesn't know sh%$, they are just there to scare off people. Just say, here to golf. If they ask who you're a guest of, say you're a guest of a guest and give that BS name.

If you are only accounting for courses at the resort, it is Bandon in a landslide. If you factor in the surrounding area, Pinehurst, Pebble, and Wisconsin make it much closer.

Of 'resorts' only ever played some second-tier Myrtle Beach layouts, and Ka'anapali & Kona, but Hawaii beat SC in my book.
