The chosen one. Highest rated high school player ever. Won a national championship as a true freshman. Once in a generation talent. The LeBron James of Football.
Where does he play next year??? I didn't include all NFL teams, just selected bad ones that might end up with the top pick and some others with interesting QB situations that might try to trade up. Also note I included Clemson at the bottom in case he stays in college so don't forget about that one.
Personally, I think he ends up on the Jets. Clearly the worst team in the NFL. I think they'll end up with the #1 pick and will not trade it away. Yeah they have Darnold who has been okayyyyy..... but come on, it's Trevor Lawrence. I don't see them passing on the opportunity.

If it looks like the Jets would get the pick, he will stay at Clemson.
Please note, he’s no Joe Burrow. Burrow is far better than Lawrence could ever dream of being.

He could also pull a Eli/Elway and demand a trade saying he won’t sign with the Jets. The guy has all the tools to be a star. Staying another year would probably do him some good but I doubt he will. I love Joe Burrow, big LSU fan, he’s awesome and looks like he’ll be great in the NFL. I will say he had a lot of help at LSU. That was one of the greatest offenses ever and it wasn’t just him

There’s a lot involved in having great seasons like LSU did, and like Lawrence has had in the past. Pick any Alabama or Oklahoma QB in recent years too. I’ve been an LSU fan since I can remember. In the poll that was run here last season for who would win the title before the season started, I was the only one to choose LSU Lawrence doesn’t pass my NFL Eye Test as much as others. Then again I could be going NFL blind too. Lol. He will get his chance and we will see but “chosen one” is certainly not him imo.

Not saying I believe Lawrence is a sure thing, just using buzz words to liven up my post. First and foremost I’m a sad Gophers and Vikings fan, so I kind of have to adopt just a general love for football if I am to keep my sanity in fall. I have family in Baton Rouge and one of them works in the LSU athletic department so that’s how I got to like them

I wish the best for TL. Love his humility too, he's just a great kid.

Clemson if he decides to stay (duh).
Random team that over-reaches in the top 5 if he declares.

We all been thru those lean times with them I’m also a fan of all Philly teams (my hometown) and we’ve had some of the worst teams ever in their respective sports. Like EVER! lol. The LSU fandom is from being a little tyke and digging the logo. Im speculating with ya I’m definitely in the minority with my thoughts on Lawrence. I was with Lamar Jackson too, so there’s that lol. We will definitely find out. I do think he stays in school if the Jets have that pick.

I see Indy making a play for Lawrence. It’s in their DNA to go get a franchise QB to build around

Burrow: great.. Trevor Lawrence: Once in a generation. I don't care for either LSU or Clemson, but I knew of Trevor Lawrence and I have been watching his stuff for a few years now and my goodness, I have not seen anybody like it. His poise in the pocket, decision making, arm strength, scramble speed.. Nobody has ever had all of those. (He also has the greatest locks in football history) It really sucks his first few years are going to be wasted on the Jets, the Browns of the 2020s, the NFL version of the Knicks, the 3nd 0-16 team of all time. But that's how the NFL works. We all love it don't we

Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Auburn, Florida, etc. SEC conference play is high level. Jets may not have the pick either. Jags and Texans are one win teams right now. Texans have a QB so maybe the Jags are a better team for him. He can always stay at Clemson if he doesn’t like what he sees.

What about Clemson's last star quarterback. I agree tho he "might" wait for next year but in reality is next year first pick going to be that much better? It will probably be the Jets either way lol

Lol, Jets and Jags almost every year. There could always be someone wanting to trade up though. I could definitely see Patriots making an offer with Cam (Auburn) failing but Jets are a division rival so, no deal. Last great Clemson QB.... you mean Charlie Whitehurst? Lol, joking D-Wat is having issues this year, but what about him in relation to Lawrence?
