Round 4 Pub Crawl

The pars are back! Lots of pars early on, but no bogeys, much like round 1. Of course, as predicted, tempo was back in the toilet. Lots of near misses with the putter. Two mini-runs late on both the front and back 9 provided almost all of the birdies, the first 4-5 holes on each side were par fests. Boy, it's helpful when you avoid the big numbers though. In the end, it was just enough.

R4 : -8 (63)

Rd 3. Chasing -12, a tough ask but a splash in on 17 followed by a chirp on 18 halved the match

Rd 4. Setting a target for Jason. Pins in tougher positions but pulled out a respectable -10

OFTR - Dave had already Tequilla Slammed this course so not much I could do to help the team. Played 18 holes, contributed 2 holes!!
Nice course, that damn tree on the short par 4 got me again, just as it was designed to!

Oh boy that course on the beer league this week was such a grind fest, the only good part of it was when it was over, it was just so dull that I lost all inspiration after the first two rounds, sorry team. Anyway, that's enough of golf for this week so I'll see you all next week, cheers.

Round 3 -3 under just squeezed past Leon not as easily done as it looked I didn’t get to three under until about the 16th.
I was going to play my fourth round against David portred but tempo was shocking, I’ve not had a red slow for probably my last three tournaments but I’ve had 6 in that round alone to go with a few grey slows.

Tempo Schmempo was on the table Monday as I was unable to break par decided to wait till today to play my 2 nd round which was a tad better.

Couldn’t buy a putt in the first three rounds. Round two was playing well until my spare on 9. Xbox just decided it was my time. Hit 3 fasts and a slow drive consecutively, all splashing down into the water. Don’t think I’ve ever hit 4 straight poor shots in a row on pro so I don’t know what happened there. After a follow up bogey on 10 I worked the round down to a +1 (narrowly missing an eagle putt on 18), which was surprising given my putting struggles this week. Round four was tempo issues like no other I think stemming from my putting frustrations. I think 60-70% of my shots were fast so I never stood a chance. I’m really sorry team. I’ll try to get it together for One For the Road

As luck would have it, I am off work tomorrow (Thursday), as I am on call the weekend. 7 AM EST will be loads of fun to say the least, but I will be high on caffeine.

Only need to see if I am cash fluid - if not, how does low stakes skins sound, if only to enjoy a round with this old jackass?

Glad to be finished with this week. Once again, Beer League course doesn't interest me at all, regardless of my score.
