SkyBlueBenR3 Pub Crawl This is going to sound a touch ridiculous, but I actually got robbed in this round. This was probably the cleanest ball-striking round I've had on 2K21. 95% of my shots were perfect and the few that weren't were barely off-center. I wish I could bottle it, I have no idea what the secret sauce is. Putter was really good, chipping was solid. Just caught a few rotten breaks with agonizing near-misses or odd bounces on shots that were literally inches from being perfect and ended up in bad spots just due to green roll, etc. I don't think I can play any better than this, and I'm certainly not complaining about the score, it just should have been a little better with some luck as cleanly as I played. Hopefully I'll get the breaks back when my tempo invariably goes to #### for round 4. R3 : -12 (59)

SkyBlueBenRound 2 Struggles continue. Getting so many slows/very slows, even on chip shots and bunker shots. Very frustrating. The trick I’m finding with chipping is to move the aiming marker to where you want the ball to land, practice swing until the bottom bar goes white (so you know how far to swing) then get the tempo right(couple more practice swings) before hitting the ball. Practice swings may not be your thing but it really helps me |

Walk of Shame Week 5, Rounds 1 & 2 or Forced Sobriety Has Its Advantages Pairs challenge tagging along with the captain, my captain, Patrick against everyone’s favorite animated Disney feature, The Fox and Der Hund Ashton Fox SirLeOssiAs always, practice and actual play didn’t mesh up. However, to the chagrin of the opposition, practice was trash, and actual play was, at least in the first round, sublime (by my standards of poor play). Round 1 featured my putter, of all things, placing me on its back, and carrying me for a full 18 holes, completely unfettered by bogies and producing a clean card.  With my putter on fire, SkyBlueBen, I managed to do just fine.  Round 2 started out where the first left off, turning out birds on five of the first seven, before the 9th said I’d had enough, and pooped out the first humph of the day.  Played the back within reason as well with one more humph, well below my season average, and turned out another decent round, completely out of character.  Having given my captain adequate support, Ashton and David just might be feeling a little pressure. Rd 1: -7  Rd 2: -6  Quite the little aviary, if I do say so myself.  |

SkyBlueBen Returning from an extended vacation did not help my golf game, but it was nice to get back into the swing of things. Totally frustrated with my first 3 rounds in Beer League which I will never play on a Sunday again as some of you have noted it sucks tempo wise and I guess I am living proof of that. It is awful to be so frustrated that I did not turn my pc on for the next 3 days.  To Les, Sam Ronny and CFgib I was a bit short on my f *orgasm's this week and sorry to disappoint you. I will have a word with Charlie on that!!   OFTR
