SkyBlueBenOFTR - utter dog ####. I'm not going to go too deeply into it, but how the hell does a drive land on the fairway, bounce twice, roll through the rough, onto a wooden barrier down into the water and the game makes you re-tee? How does a ball hit with a 98 yard club in a 77-85% lie that's struck Perfect at 101% and dead straight travel 58 yards and land in a bunker? WAY too much of that crap over and over along with no putter luck. Fuming right now...

Beer And A Chaser (commencing 29th August)
Loads of time before this needs to be sorted but I'm registering pairs for this as the spreadsheet is good to go. Handicaps will obviously be sorted nearer the time but you can team up with anyone as long as they're registered with us. No rush, just in case anyone wanted to get it sorted early. If you want to take part I could do with you taking part in at least 3 Beer League events (and reporting scores to me) between the start of Season 6 and the week preceeding the event to determine a handicap. This will not affect most of you as you generally play every week. Beer And A Chaser Scoreboard Please add myself and Doe Coba as a team for this. |

Rd 4 Pub Crawl So it came down to the final pairing of the match between The Slammers & The Foregasms and it just so happened to be the captains who got to slog it out for the outcome. The Foregasms captain lessangster had already played his rd and scored -3 for me to try and beat. A win or draw in the match would give us the win while if I lost, the match would be a draw. Struggling over the first 12 holes to keep at par it was looking unlikely that I was going to pull the win out of the hat, but some luck had me in a good position after the 17th. Time to play safe on the 18th and not to try any hero shots with the green being on an island with water all around , par would be enough for the win Rd 4 -4 SkyBlueBen Two weeks running you've struck the decisive blow, leading by example, well played skip. |

BCUTS: I know I've been a 👻 and it's because my time has been sucked up with golf, baseball, and work around the house. I have completely dropped the ball with Untapped and I'm sorry to anyone who was hoping I was going to get the scoreboards back up and running. I was hoping I was going to, too. I don't want Untapped to go away though. The rounds are just for fun and it seems the concept is enjoyed so I have set up the next 4 weeks on X1 (PC and PS4 are currently pending). Here is the full list with the upcoming courses added:  lessangster , r0nrun , SirLeOssi , & Celtic Wolf will be hosting Untapped the next 4 weeks. Looking forward to taking a few vastly different spins around your courses! 😁 Again, I apologize for the distance but hopefully it makes the heart grow fonder.  🦊 |

Walk of Shame Week 5, the second half, or Never Will I Ever Try Brew Crew Karaoke Again Round 3 against Ken the Wiser makes me think I would play so much better if I wasn’t aware of my opponent’s score (Ken’s -3, in this case), as I fell victim to my own hubris.  Round 4 against my old friend Ernie could go in any direction as we are seemingly cut from the same cloth. Problem is, it looks much better on him than on me.  At any rate, SkyBlueBen, I am not happy to report… Rd 3: +2  Rd 4: -1   |

Make Mine a Double; I’m Driving Need to stop practicing and start playing all BC events sight unseen, with the mindset that I’m using the master swing, so when it goes near perfect, I start getting super confidence. Modify me, SkyBlueBen Got some points for the BoBs  |

While I’m on that Vikingklubbens course was probably very nice if I could see some of it. I don’t have eyes like a shithouse rat 😂, this is what I’m seeing. I’m not sat four feet from a computer monitor in a darkened room I’m sat in a bungalow playing admittedly on a large TV but I’m sat 10 feet away with light streaming in at a 90 deg angle. This is not a dig at Ben who set the courses up it’s just for information. I don’t know if catcherman22 Dan might find it useful to pass on to the admins when setting up tournaments across the formats. This is why I mostly play my rounds in an evening.    I’m with you on this one Les, I played 4 or 5 holes of this course and had to walk away because I couldn’t see what was going on. Maybe it’s different on a high performance PC And then you realise that you can turn shadows off on PC, I don’t know if it would help in this case but next time I play the game on my laptop I must give this a try with shadows turned off and see if it makes a difference. |
