Hold on to your hat, it is that time again for the Banker dave69 to collect all funds from those who dare to join the Thrilling Thursday Skins Match. Today we will be visiting a lovely course by raphczirr Salzburg Country Club on the Austrian/German border. Set beside an alpine lake and the castle Brunwald. Enjoy a round of golf in one of the most remote locations in Europe. Don't forget to stop for a cup of coffee at one of the boutique restaurants nearby. Coffee is free for those who have lost in this High Stakes skins match. @doeboba will be on hand to replace Bova and we welcome him to our Thursday matches whenever possible, as long as he does not take too much of my money! Rd 1: E Rd 2: -8 After last week's awesome course, this one is a total flop. Seems like course created tempo issues on holes such as 14 and 18 (those are the most recent ones I played so I can actually remember them). This picture shows the moment I lost respect for the course:  That is a proper mess of OB and should not be allowed to be used in a competitive round, in my opinion. This also caused VF and Fast on swings on X1 (or what I call course created tempo issues). I'll call it what it is... It's a tricked up course. Beautiful, but tricked up. Happy navigating! SkyBlueBen 🦊🍺 I have so far said nothing on this subject as I didn't want to rub people the wrong way, but enough is enough!!! This Course is not tricked up, stop making things up as you go along to push a narrative that isn't true. There is nothing wrong with this course and while I haven't played it on tour I have played it on 187 greens VFirm fairways and greens this week as I wanted to see what the fuss was about, nothing wrong with the course except that some people don't like it because it doesn't suit them (and thats fine you don't have to like it), compared to some very bland looking course's that we have played on this was a simple pleasure to play, furthermore Designers put so much time and effort into a course that most people couldn't fathom what it means and how feels to have you course dogged like this and by people who are apart of the same group, pretty poor form imho, this course has 100 hours put into at the very least and I wouldn't be surprised if was over 200. Yes it's true designers need to have a thinker skin, It's one thing to give a designer constructive criticism but to just bash a course is just plain wrong. Thank you for the course SirLeOssi I for one had a great time. |

I apologise for the detrimental affect that this has on both his pairs partner Michael @babybull and his team, Loko In Acapulco but the rules were made quite clear before the season commenced.
