Nice course you picked there Carol. I hadn't come across it before but like all of Ken's coggin66 courses it was a good challenge and a great way to kick off the season. |

Hi Leon if you don't mind me asking what kind of a gaming laptop did you get? As I've been looking for the past few years lol as soon as something new comes out it's past it's sale date lol. Hi Ernie, I purchased a Asus Rog Strix G512LW-AZ003T It has a Intel® Core™ i7-10750H Processor 2.6 GHz (12M Cache, up to 5.0 GHz, 6 cores), NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2070 8GB GDDR6 and 15.6 inch display with 240hz refresh rate. I decided to upgrade to 32Gb of Ram and added another 512Gb SSD storage. I'm very happy with it but my bank balance took a hammering, lol. OMG Leon, that is my rig as well! It is a beauty and I use the HDMI port to add the second monitor. So nice. |

Pub Crawls Round 2, played that yesterday, might as well be last year. All I can recall it was bogey free. Round 3 was probably the easiest setup i've ever played on these tours since this all started many years ago. I made 2 bogeys in that round. Could not convert any of the pffft, 6?, more? eagle opportunities presented. smh. Noticed two -21's for that round on the PC board already. I wonder if those two peeps also feel a bit gutted. Probably. Either way, another frustrating round chasing tempo's, scratching my head on the greens and generally fighting the urge to pull out my driver and smacking a ball through the club house window. Good luck Mark, my score is beatable. Round 4, suddenly the game tries to kiss and make up, drops me probably 100 feet worth of putts in 1st 4 holes alone. Yet them iggles keep on passing me by. Did finally drop a 8 footer for eagle on the last, but by then the romance was over. Good luck Art, you'll have to work a bit to beat that one, but still beatable. SkyBlueBen |

One for the roadTough to hit fairways, tough to hit greens, tough to 1 putt, tough course. A simple pat on the back not good enough for scoring a bogey free round. Think I'll go stand on a railway line somewhere waiting for the train to pat me on the back. Well deserved. I'll take it. Great score you made Ben! SkyBlueBenSeason 4 week 1, rounds 1 & 2. A solid score from partner sid snott left me having to get round without any drama against inflames47 and Loftyando and the first point of season 4 would be ours. Not a great round but hit some eagles which boosted the score 59 -13. Round 2 will be close with Carol -12 and my -14 the only scores in so far. Had a great run through the middle of the course but faded at the end.

SkyBlueBenRounds 1 & 2 Pub Crawl Much like the 3.6 roentgen reading in my childhood buddy's HBO program, these rounds were "not great, not terrible." Could have been great, but weren't. I've come to grips with the fact that I'll never manage tempo on this game like I did on 2K19, but my putting mojo has evaporated. There were a lot of holes in which I stuck the approach close and tapped in birdies, plenty of holes where I botched a shot or two and settled for par, but so many holes where the approach rolled to about 10-20 feet. I feel like I have roughly a 50/50 shot typically of holing those putts, but on these two rounds, I think I went about 2 or 3 for 15. All razor-thin margins too, just grazing the cup over and over. As a result, there were a number of possible birds that ended up as pars, which made the difference between hanging out near the top of the heap here in the Brew Crew and being mid-pack.
