A less than stellar performance overall but I had this little goodie in the second round of untapped (albatross). Been struggling with tempo lately but it seems to get better.

Day 4, March 13 The Fox vs The ArtWith the Monarchs just about having won the Cider Cup already the chitter chatter inside Moe's Tavern was becoming quite loud. The focus had shifted from calibrating controllers to (not) counting calories. All were happy to drain Duffs by the barrel fulls, getting to know the locals and generally having a great old time. Ashton and Art with an HK, both well oiled by now, moved to a relative quiet corner to play their match-up As per the rules both had to draw lots on whose gaming rig they had to play their rounds on. Ashton drew first and got Barney for a sidekick. Letting rip the mother of all burps Barney slapped his arm around Ashton's shoulder - Bring 12 more Duffs!! he shouted before tumbling down onto the couch dragging the Fox down with him. Buuuuuuurp. A grinning Art was drawing dead with Sideshow Bob as his partner in crime. 'Sit down Art' Bob patted the couch next to him with a smile. 'Closer' before sliding in real tight against Art, pressing a concealed knife into Art's ribcage, just enough to lightly prick the skin. 'I never lose, let's not start tonight, shall we'. Art, now properly shocked sober, tried to point to the outside stammering he think he saw Bart on his skateboard a few minutes ago but Bob was having none of it. Too cold outside, besides, i'm not going to have you play on my PC  while i'm not around, Bob purred, giving the knife a slight twist. Lets play! Ashton fished his controller out of Barneys beer mug and just when he was ready to hit his first shot Barney shouted, BOTTOMS UP!! and he chugged a mug full of Duff down Ashtons throat. Can't play without gas he shouted. Both players opened with birdies. DOWN DOWNS!! Barney shouted. Every time you make a birdie you down a beer!!! And down Ashton's hatch it goes. Jesus, Ashton thinks, i'll be dead by the 9th. Halleluja Art thinks, if Ashton passes out I might get to live another day. Next hole, Art with trembling hands drops a great pressure 30 footer for bird, Ashton, 5 feet for away for his bird but needing a breather deliberately pushes his putt wide of the hole. Par, phew...aaaaand Barney shouts my partner is outta gas!! Down the hatch. Take another just in case Barney adds. (Dead man walking goes 1 up) Ashton accidentally birdies the following hole to square the match and then the unthinkable happens. Barney passes out. And Ashton immediately empties his half full beer mug into the pot plant. And Art starts to panic. And he can't shake the Fox. And the Fox completely oblivious to Arts predicament is playing well, matching Art stroke for stroke. Come the 6th and with Ashton making bogey, Art shouts DOWN DOWNS at the top of his voice, waking Barney from his slumber. I think your partner is outta gas! History will show that Ashton fought manfully till the 11th before he finally passed out, Barney - as per the pixel golf associates rules - finishing his round on his behalf. And Art, well, Art made sure Barney had his gas tank filled after each hole. Bob, even though impressed, also looked slightly disappointed. Well played Art, think I'll have one beer and go find Bart. If ever I get to Hong Kong, maybe i'll look you up. Art wins 4 & 2 |

Septic Peg's back out of the dungeon for season four ready to predick the outcomes of the team matches using all of her no knowledge of golf, in other words diddly squat.
Match one sees the Slush Puppies against Puss y Galore, and they will going at each other like cats and dogs Peg likes to stroke a puss y or two, so she is going with Galore.
Match two has the Bruce Springsteen looky likey's, Born to Rum plying the underage Dennis the Menace's with lot's of rum. Septic thinks this will work as although the Menace's are probably older than most of us they can't hold their drink. Watch out for Gnasher , he's rumoured to be heavy drinker.
Match three Release's the Kraken to go Loco down in Acapulco. Peg hasn't a clue how this one will turn out so has gone for a draw
Septic once went on Jim'll Fixit asking to milk a cow. Jimmy Saville said she had to do it blindfolded. She asked do cows only have one udder. She didn't see that one coming

As Saturday comes to an end in my part of the world, I wanted to take a second to have my final say about the Cyder Cup this go around.
First and foremost, thank you so much to the admin for what they do to develop and execute this tournament. We see the finished product of hours of work and we are so thankful for your efforts. Three cheers 👏👏👏
To the reporters, thank you for the entertainment. It's the extras like the work y'all do that make this week have a little extra glimmer. 🙂
To the Strongbow Strikers: this week was not your week but we know yours is coming and that we have to be ready. We know when we meet again it will be the clash of the titans and we will look forward to it! I hope you had fun and enjoyed the extra excitement this week brought. Until we meet again. 🤝

Congratulations to David ( dave69 ) for his 6-shot victory in the Beer League this week. Awesome stuff Dave. I was happy to be the top XB1 player in the Beer League by 9 shots ... but that was still only good enough for T18 overall. Do they use a bucket for the hole on the other platforms?!  |

Ashton FoxShowed up a little too late for last week’s course but I played this week’s. Brought the good putter for round 1 but left it in the clubhouse for round 2 (probably will take playing my ghost for that to make sense as the score would suggest otherwise)
