I need to rant but not about anyone in the brew crew. The number of people that message me on FB asking how they do Lidar. Just had one today he was having trouble getting it to work. He wasn’t using the right Lidar data and hadn’t traced his course out on openstreetmap. He also didn’t have the newest version of Chad’s tool, didn’t know what point cloud data was and hadn’t saved his course tracings on openstreetmap. None of them had even watched Chad’s video or other videos freely available on YouTube on how to do it. Then after I explained what he needed to do he said he didn’t have the patience to do it. Do these people think you just download Chad’s tool run it and your local course pops out ready made. 😡 Rant over Sorry Les. I won’t bother you again 😉 |

Sorry Les. I won’t bother you again 😉 It’s not you your not trying to do Lidar and i wouldn’t mind from mates after all I did Boysnope for Simon I’d love to have a go at doing Coventry Hearsall Golf Club where my Dad was a member for many years and I always take it in when I’m back in Cov as there’s a public footpath that runs through the course where I walked the dog. I even played there myself as a youngster but decided golf was too wussy for me and I preferred to play Rugby!! I regret not persevering with the game and it no doubt disappointed my father. My mother was an excellent pianist. Another thing I was encouraged to do and didn’t that I also regret. I would love to be able to play the piano nowadays!! And what did Rugby give me? Dodgy shoulders and knees!! Not really got the time to learn Lidar design. Perhaps I’ll give it a shot in Tiger Woods PGA 2K26 when I’m retired!!  |

It’s not you your not trying to do Lidar and i wouldn’t mind from mates after all I did Boysnope for Simon I’d love to have a go at doing Coventry Hearsall Golf Club where my Dad was a member for many years and I always take it in when I’m back in Cov as there’s a public footpath that runs through the course where I walked the dog. I even played there myself as a youngster but decided golf was too wussy for me and I preferred to play Rugby!! I regret not persevering with the game and it no doubt disappointed my father. My mother was an excellent pianist. Another thing I was encouraged to do and didn’t that I also regret. I would love to be able to play the piano nowadays!! And what did Rugby give me? I got well into the process but it was only through your help that I have a work in progress sitting in my unpublished courses. |
