I have a real life story to tell you good folks.
I hit a real golf ball today for the first time in about 5 years.
It was only at a driving range but it felt bloody good to be swinging a club again.
I hoping to play a round on my local course in a couple of weeks.
Go for it Leon - feels good doesn't it! I'm more of a cricketer than a golfer and hadn't played golf for about 20 years up until Covid came. Then I bought myself an old set of Ping Eye 2s for £85 and I'm loving it. We are allowed to play golf again here in the UK from 29th March so I'm looking forward to hitting some balls from then onwards... Ping Eye 2’s haven’t had those clubs for years, I had a 1 iron was my favourite club in the bag but I ditched the wedge and sand wedge. |

It's going to be a bittersweet day on Fox5 today. The Rum Raiders Bova and Fox are going to be streaming a collective 5 rounds of competition play in hopes of scoring well to finish the season as strong as possible. While that is very exciting, it's also the end of the season which is always sad but especially so as the Rum Raiders are pulling into port for the final time for the foreseeable future. After my final putt on 18 of the OFTR round, I will hang up the jolly roger C band that I've grown to enjoy more and more each season. But that's the finish line and I have a lot of steps left in the race that I get to enjoy 🙂 The action will kick off with Bova usually around 6:30 am EST and then I will be streaming at 9:00 am EST (I have to see the Mrs. off today 😘) I'll post when I'm going live!  🦊🍺🏴☠️ Well we all know how to make Roger Jolly again. For season 5 I will, once again, plead/beg for 6 volunteers to enhance their experience of the group. I tried my best but sadly not everyone is as enthusiastic as your good self Ashton. We will see what Season 5 delivers us..... If it makes you feel any better Ben then I will take a captain’s armband |

Well we all know how to make Roger Jolly again. For season 5 I will, once again, plead/beg for 6 volunteers to enhance their experience of the group. I tried my best but sadly not everyone is as enthusiastic as your good self Ashton. We will see what Season 5 delivers us..... If it makes you feel any better Ben then I will take a captain’s armband Not really about me feeling better Les. I just think it's the way it should be constructed as do a few others. I have no idea why but for some reason most of the group seem to shy away from it when it really isn't a big commitment. Even less so now I've found a way to make it easier with responsibilities completed even before the season gets underway. But thank you Les, you would make a fine leader of men (and woman). |

It’s not the commitment that makes me shy away from it I’m very forgetful and need to look at the roster sometimes to see who’s comments are in the forums. I don’t really know half the people in brew crew. |

It’s not the commitment that makes me shy away from it I’m very forgetful and need to look at the roster sometimes to see who’s comments are in the forums. I don’t really know half the people in brew crew. All you need to remember are your own team mates. Look after them and you'd be fine!! Have no fear, I quite often type a message and then realise I'm in the wrong thread for that particular message!!  |

SkyBlueBen Pub crawl, rounds 3 & 4 Finished off season 3 with two pretty solid rounds. Can't complain how it went, missed some putts and approaches but also made a few shots to make up for it. Finished the event with 4 clean cards which is always good. Looks like the Brahms & Liszt boys are going to hang on to first place but my fellow In Ciders gave them a good run to the end. sid snott Crazy Croc inflames47 Thanks and congrats, we turned out to be a pretty decent team. Good luck to all for next season.   Barely came in under par but hung in there with -2 for the fourth round SkyBlueBen and this is done and dusted and off to drink a Cyder from a Cup! What a way to crush a bloke Ken in his moment of glory. I had no idea bots were in that game mode. I now realise why the other players were taking so long to hit their shots  Ken has a video on Twitter of about 12 bots hitting their second shots straight into the hole one after the other. It was hole 1 with just me and one other real person and the 18 bots all holed out from the fairway (all eagles I think, maybe albys!). SkyBlueBenR4 -5 Much like round 3 got close to those birdies but not close enough hence no cigar.  OFTR Definitely swings and roundabouts as should have been 5 shots better.
