SkyBlueBenPub Crawl completed  Pretty average for that course if I'm honest  Not sure what happened in the 3rd round. I think it was the day that Chelsea played Coventry and nothing went right that day!

SkyBlueBenOFTR  Managed to pick up a few points on the front 9 before giving half of them back on the 10th! That hole reminded me of a hidden speed camera on the side of the road - you don't see it until it's too late! SAM I loved the course (apart from the 10th). Think it's one of your better in recent times. Good job!

SkyBlueBenRound 4 I pushed for the PC lead there on the back.. just came up a few short! Pleased with that round though in those conditions.

Walk of Shame - Final Week, Round 1 or I Coulda Been a Contendah Hamstrung by a slow start where my first bird wasn’t caught until hole #6, and needing -8 to even tie @onionbluebenjohn, I managed to rally to a clean card -7 through 17. But... shanked the last drive into the rough, then followed with a hampered 3W into more rough, then saved my only 3-putt for when it really mattered, and you know...it just didn’t matter by then. Rd 1: -5  I’m grossly disappointed, SkyBlueBen. Perhaps I’ll be better next season when I’m in your team, living under the shadow of your threatening presence every single day for 35 to 42 days. Yes, daddy. I promise I’ll be better.  |

I might have to get some tips from Mitch ( volinvietnam) because I'm off to Vietnam. Ah! Understood. Well, to be fair, there are parts where the desert/steppe area could work.... There is a nice area I know about, with a decommissioned light house, that you could give a go at.... |

Walk of Shame Finale - Round 2 or Something’s Afoot Overheard in the B&L locker room, courtesy of Carol, who frequents that space frequently: Onions: “Gee, Ben, you sure did shoot well in that second round. -6 is a pretty good score!” Tough: “Gosh, thanks, Johnny! It sure was, but not near as good as your -7, ha ha ha!” Onions: “I know that’s right, Ben, but you know what else I noticed?” Tough: “No, Johnny, what’s that?” Onions: “We were the first ones out today, and nobody saw how we did, not even Paige, and not even Carol!” Tough: “Gosh again, Johnny, you’re right! Do you suppose Paige and Carol were...” Onions: “Focus, Ben, you little freak... what I’m getting at is (whispers unintelligibly) and we’ll be sure to win! Besides, you control the scoreboard, and everyone trusts you, cause your Sky Blue F***ing Ben!” Tough: “Capital idea, old sport! What say I give each of us -14. There’s no way in hell Mollon and Lawrence beat that!” Onions: “Now you’re talkin’, chief! You’ve always been an idea man!” Pete’s -5 meant I needed -24 to snag the win. Oh so close, SkyBlueBen. Close enough to make you guys very very nervous. Rd 2: -7  BREAKING NEWS: “Sky Blue” Benjamin Jonas Tough, founding member, administrator, and official scorekeeper of the TGC Brew Crew was found guilty today in federal court of embezzlement, racketeering, and point shaving. As part of a plea agreement, Tough has forfeited his admin responsibilities, and has been given a reduced sentence of 15 more seasons with the Brew Crew. Neither Tough nor his attorney, Jonathon Silas Bollocks, Esq were available for comment. We did ask Mr. Bollocks’ mother and land lady, Mrs. Edna Onions-Bollocks, for a comment, to which she only stated, “No big surprise.
